The Miracles I Experienced When I First Started To Practice Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) I obtained the Fa in May 1998. Before obtaining the Fa I was only 40 years old but was already plagued with diseases. I went to the hospital once every seven or eight days, easily spending over 400 Yuan within three months. The pain of the diseases did not allow me to sleep well for six or seven months. I didn't go out much, either.

The Falun Gong practice site is right behind my home, but initially I was not attracted to it. After some time, curiosity made me to go and take a look. So I took a small stool, sat besides the wall and listened to them reading Master's Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa. Within five minutes I felt very inspired. At the time I did not understand what was happening. After going back home I slept soundly for 5-1/2 hours. I was very happy! At least I could sleep now. I would go to the practice site again tomorrow. Just like this I went there for five consecutive evenings. On the sixth evening when I just got home and wanted to sleep, a Falun flew in the window, turning clockwise, then turning counter-clockwise, for about 20 minutes. At that time I didn't know it was a Falun. I could see this Falun, both with my eyes open and closed. When I went home from the practice site, I saw Falun leading the way every day. Then fellow practitioners taught me to do the exercises. For the tranquil sitting exercise, I did the lotus position for one hour the first time. Afterwards my health became better and better. I no longer needed any medicine. I bought the book Zhuan Falun to read. I liked the book so much that I could not put it down. Before I reached the fifth lecture of the book, every character turned into Falun, layer upon layer, and shining with golden light. I was first a bit afraid and closed the book, but upon reopening the book it was still like that. Later when I asked fellow practitioners and understood it was a good experience, I was no longer afraid. Through Fa-study I understood the phenomenon, just like Master said: "Those of our practitioners with their Celestial Eye open can each see that this book looks very colorful, golden, and shiny. Each word bears the image of my Fashen." (Zhuan Falun)

Since July 20, 1999 the evil started this insane persecution. Under severe pressure and abuse and mistreatment, some practitioners gave up on Dafa because of fear. But I became more and more steadfast with study, and every time I improved a level I could actually feel it. This is the true Great Law of the Universe, a ladder leading to Heaven.
