Los Angeles Practitioners Continuously Send Forth Righteous Thoughts in Front of the Chinese Consulate, Clarifying the Truth to Chinese Scholars

(Clearwisdom.net) Starting at 1:00 p.m. on April 20, Los Angeles Dafa practitioners conducted 48 hours of continuously sending forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese Consulate, seizing the unprecedented historical opportunity to eliminate the Chief Evil, and to establish a peaceful environment prior to the arrival of Fa-rectification in the human world.

By coincidence, on the same day the Chinese Consulate was holding a science seminar for scholars and professionals from Southern California. Using this as an excuse, the Chinese Consulate called the police. When the police came, they were very friendly and said that they knew there were Falun Gong practitioners doing meditation in front of the consulate, and they were there simply for routine business to keep public order. Practitioners thanked them for their consistent support. Just when the police were about to leave, a man from the consulate, being utterly discomfited, requesting the police to move the practitioners from the front to the side of the property. The police took a look at the peaceful practitioners in meditation and said to him that as far as they were concerned it did not make any difference whether the practitioners changed place or not. The man could not say anything, but went away angry. The consulate might have made another phone call, because another police car drove over from a distance. The police in the two cars chatted with each other for a while, then left together.

The event in the consulate lasted from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with participating scholars and experts coming and going, and quite a number of them came over to look at our display boards. Many of them happily accepted our truth clarifying discs. We met several previous acquaintances from the same university in China. One of them said that it would take a while to understand Falun Dafa and he was rather confused at the beginning.

There was one interesting young man who was very sympathetic towards Falun Gong as soon as he walked over, and said this was definitely political persecution. A while later, he asked another friend to come over to take a disc. He showed interest in the book Zhuan Falun, so practitioners offered to lend him a copy. He could hardly believe that there were still people who trusted others so much. He carefully put the book inside his jacket. When having dinner, he brought his meal box to the practitioners and asked, "Have you eaten yet? You are working so hard." After the seminar, he came back again with a few friends to ask for discs. He came back and forth five or six times, lingering around where practitioners were doing meditation, and each time he would stay until he had to go back into the consulate.
