Some Stories About What Happened Outside the Chinese Embassy in London
(Clearwisdom.net) In order to call for more support for practitioners in China and those who
were sending forth righteous thoughts in Germany, practitioners from London and other parts of the
UK started a 23-day relay hunger strike on April 3, 2002 right across from the Chinese Embassy in
London. The hunger strike will end on the 25th of April. The following are some stories
about what happened just across from the Embassy. 1) "Please give me more flyers, I'd like to give them to people around me." One day at noon, a lady curiously followed a little practitioner here who was dressed in yellow
Dafa clothes. After she learned about the situation of Falun Dafa in both China and the rest of the
world, she signed our petition letter for support and said, "Please give me more flyers, I'd
like to give them to people around me and let them all know about this." 2) Policemen on duty in front of the Embassy The policemen on duty outside of the Embassy often come across the street to chat with us. One
day, a policeman walked over to us and I asked him if he had read our flyers. He said, "I have
read several versions already. Some of my fellow policemen brought some flyers back to the office
rest area so that other officers could also read them. Although we are police on duty here, we all
support you. Good luck!" 3) Touching story from the staff of the British Royal Architecture Institute The British Royal Architecture Institute is located right across from the Embassy. Our activity
is right in front of their door. Their staff have always been friendly and supportive to us. They
emptied part of their storage room and let us store our display boards and stuff there. One day,
only one female practitioner was doing the sitting meditation in front of the Embassy when suddenly
rain started pouring down from the sky. At that moment, two ladies from the Institute rushed out and
moved all the display boards and other stuff inside the hall and disappeared. Later, we could only
write a public thankyou letter to be put up inside of the Institute. 4) "Way to go, Miss!" One day, a practitioner was meditating when a young male Chinese student came over and said,
"I just wanted to say to you: way to go, miss! It hasn't been easy for you guys." The
practitioner said, "It is actually very easy for us here. It is really not easy for
practitioners in mainland China." He then said, "Such suppression is very brutal."
Before he left, he took some Dafa materials. 5) "Let's all honk." One day, a car suddenly pulled over and kept honking. The driver lowered the window and said,
" I support you! You guys should make a board saying 'Let's all honk to support Falun
Gong.'" 6) "You need this." Another day, a middle aged gentleman brought us some fruit and snacks and said, "You came
here so early. You must not have had any breakfast yet. You need this." It was hard to refuse,
so we gratefully accepted and thanked him. Several times while we were meditating, eyes closed,
passersby left us flowers and food without leaving their names. PS: This is not the end of the touching stories yet. The hunger strike continues. These
stories are just a few minor anecdotes. If they don't stop the suppression of Falun Gong, the
peaceful protest in front of the Embassy will never stop. In the midst of this display of good vs.
evil, everyone is positioning themselves for the future with their actions today. Posting date: 4/26/2002
