Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts in Front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C., on Sunday (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Early Sunday morning, April 20, 2002, Falun Dafa practitioners in Washington, D.C., gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil and create a comparatively peaceful environment for more sentient beings to understand Dafa. A great struggle was also developing in other dimensions.

It was very cold and cloudy, and at noon, it started to rain . The practitioners sat peacefully and sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil. While Dafa practitioners were sending forth righteous thoughts, other demonstrators, protesters, and parades passed the Embassy. The air was filled with the noisy sounds of loudspeakers, shouted slogans, and screaming. This was the noisiest day ever since we had begun to send forth righteous thoughts. Despite this noise, Dafa practitioners still sat peacefully and sent forth righteous thoughts.

Before these noises faded away, another wave of sound from the sirens of ambulances, motorcycles, and police cars crashed around us. Dafa practitioners were not disturbed but continued sending forth righteous thoughts.

This was one of the critical days during Fa rectification. If we did well, a peaceful environment could be created for the public to learn the truth of the persecution and more people could be saved. Bearing this sacred responsibility, Dafa practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts every 30 minutes. Each time, they spent 5 minutes to clean their own minds and 10 minutes to send forth righteous thoughts. During the period when the evils interfered most with noisy sounds, Dafa practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts continuously for over an hour. No interference could shake our determined righteous thoughts, no matter how violent it might be. Despite the various interferences, once we reached a tranquil state, the outside noise could not interfere with us . We could still send forth the purest righteous thoughts to eliminate evils. We felt even more peaceful within ourselves than on regular days.

Today, we eliminated many evils, even more than the total number of evils eliminated in the past few months since starting sending forth righteous thoughts. Aren't there many evils within our own bodies where cultivation is still deficient? The evils' density is high and they are interconnected. It is very difficult to eliminate them while sending forth righteous thoughts by ourselves. Today, in the face of the powerful righteous thoughts sent forth collectively by all our Dafa practitioners, the evils have lost their momentum and can no longer remain in the bodies of Dafa practitioners.

It was very late in the evening when we went home. We encouraged each other to continue to send forth righteous thoughts during the night.

Eliminating evils must be complete. Here, we remind fellow practitioners to send forth right thoughts frequently, consistently, and continuously until all the evils are eradicated. We must not allow any opportunity for the evils to recover.
