Proclamation of Falun Dafa Week, County of Morris, New Jersey (April 7 to 13, 2002)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 20, 2002, New Jersey State Senator, Mr. Anthony R. Bucco proclaimed April 7 to 13, 2002 the first Falun Dafa Week in Morris County.

Proclamation

Whereas, Senator Anthony R. Bucco, as the duly elected representative of the 25^th Legislative District, is pleased to note that the first Falun Dafa Week in Morris County will be held at the Joint Free Public Library of Morristown and Morris Township April 7 to 13, 2002 and;

Whereas, During Falun Dafa Week, practitioners will offer numerous free exercise and meditation classes, perform exercise demonstrations, hold informational workshops, and host distinguished guest speakers and events and;

Whereas, Under the guidance of its founder, Li Hongzhi, the practice of Falun Dafa has helped to improve the health, purify the minds, uplift the spirits, and deepen the understanding of its adherents and;

Whereas, Since its introduction at Rutgers University, Falun Dafa has touched the lives of numerous residents of New Jersey, and regular practice sites have been established throughout the State;

Whereas, It is altogether fitting and proper that I acknowledge the occurrence of Falun Dafa Week, and salute its practitioners as individuals of character, concern, and ability;

Now, therefore, I Anthony R. Bucco, New Jersey State Senator of the 25^th Legislative district, do hereby proclaim April 7 to 13, 2002 Falun Dafa Week in Morris County, and calls upon the people of this County to participate fittingly in the observation of Falun Dafa Week.
