The Abduction of "Most Outstanding Policeman" Lu Zhiyong Causes Strong Repercussions Among the People in Sichuan Province

Dafa practitioner Lu Zhiyong, 40 years old, is a policeman from
Heishui County Forest District Public Security Bureau in Sichuan Province. For
his good work he was honored as "most outstanding policeman."
In the afternoon of April 16, 2002, security guards from Xinhua
Labor Camp in Mianyang City came to Lu Zhiyong's home when his family members
were all out of the house and abducted him. This news caused strong repercussions in
Xinjin County, Sichuan Province and became a topic of frequent discussion.
Lu Zhiyong studied at a Political Law College in Chengdu City. He was a good
policeman and everyone respected him at his work unit. After he cultivated Falun
Gong, he strictly acted according to the standard of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance" and always tried to be a good person who thought about other people
first. He worked conscientiously, and was the kind of honorable policeman who
would sacrifice his own life to protect the country or other people's property
if the situation required it.
Once, someone was stealing wood from the forest district. At the police checkpoint the culprit with the stolen wood increased his speed and tried to force
his way through. Facing such a dangerous situation, the other policemen all
yielded to the side, while Lu Zhiyong ran out into the middle of the road. The
driver was shocked and stopped the car suddenly. The car stopped just in front
of Lu Zhiyong. Seeing that Lu Zhiyong was so brave and righteous, the driver
gave a "thumbs up" and praised him, "I really admire you, such a brave man. I
will not do such bad things any more in the future." However, such a good
policeman, who has the courage to sacrifice his own life to protect the country
and the property of others, is now suffering from ruthless persecution, only
because he holds firmly to his faith in Falun Dafa, and because he appealed for
justice for Dafa.
On July 1st 2000, Lu Zhiyong went to Beijing to appeal for justice
to Falun Gong. As a result he was illegally taken back by the Heishui County
Public Security Bureau and put into a local detention center for three months.
After that, he was sent to Heishui 904 Farm for nine months, where his personal
freedom was illegally taken from him. They didn't even allow his mother to visit
him.
Under the continuous and escalating persecution of Falun Dafa and Dafa
practitioners by the Jiang-Luo regime, once again, Lu Zhiyong started his
journey to Beijing to appeal in July 2001. He had no money nor means of transportation. In
order to walk out of the forest district on foot, he baked a pound of soybeans
and made a big bun to eat on the road.
He walked seven days and nights in the thickly forested mountains, but he was
still within the boundary of Heishui County. The local public security bureau
abducted him and illegally detained him into Xinhua Labor Camp in Mianyang City,
Sichuan Province, for one and a half years.
Lu Zhiyong had cultivated Falun Dafa for several years and his health was
getting better and better. But, under the ruthless torture in the
Xinhua Labor Camp in Mianyang City, Lu Zhiyong fell ill again. Large amounts of
water increasingly filled up his chest, and his limbs suffered terrible
cramps. Eventually, he couldn't get out of bed, nor could he take care of
himself.
Some people at the forced labor camp saw that he was dying. They didn't want to take
the responsibility for his death, so on February 2, 2002, they released him to
his mother's home to get treatment. His mother's home was in Xinjin County,
Sichuan Province. Receiving good care from his mother, Lu Zhiyong regained his
health gradually.
However, in the afternoon of April 16th 2002, security guards from
Xinhua Labor Camp in Jinyang City came to Lu Zhiyong's home when his family
members were not home, and the security guards forcibly kidnapped Lu Zhiyong. Lu
Zhiyong refused to comply with the evil security guard's orders. Several vicious
policemen then grabbed him and dragged him along the ground for over 60 meters
before they put him into a car. During the time of being dragged on the ground,
he lost his shoes, but he kept on shouting, "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa
is a righteous way!"
There were many people on the street that saw the case, and they all talked
about it, "Lu Zhiyong is such a good person. In the labor camp, they tortured
him almost to the point of death, and then they sent him home. Now, they come to
grab him again while he is only a little bit better. It is unjust."
Other people said, "If they were not security guards, I would want to beat
them up myself."
This case caused great repercussions in the local area. People expressed
their comments. An old man who knew Lu Zhiyong before couldn't hold back his
tears whenever talking about Lu Zhiyong. Who is righteous and who is evil? Who
is good and who is bad? Any person or any media does not determine these
questions. Propaganda is just propaganda. Only the truth counts.
At the instigation and intimidation of the Jiang's regime, some individual
public security officers and government officials trampled on the country's laws. Their actions have already shown to the
public who is truly righteous and who is truly evil. It was reported that officials of the Xinhua Labor Camp in Mianyang City,
Sichuan Province adopted even more vicious means to persecute those determined
Dafa practitioners. Torture methods include long periods of forced standing in
"military posture," sleep deprivation, etc.
Hereby, we sternly warn all the officials and security guards in the labor
camp:
At this last moment of Fa rectification in the human world, watch your own
step carefully and where you will position yourself. Stop participating in the
persecution of Dafa and Dafa practitioners, or you will be buried along with the
Jiang-Luo's evil regime when the time comes.
