Since July 20^th, 1999, the "610 Office" in Duolun County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has cruelly persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners with beating, fining, illegal detention, and sentencing to labor camp or prison. In April 2001, the Duolun County Police Department Chief's only son went fishing with another corrupt policeman. He fell in the river and disappeared. In a rescue attempt, the other man was swallowed by the river as well.

Prison policeman Sun Zhiyou from Sanhe City, Hebei Province frequently and viciously beat Falun Dafa practitioners from outside the local area. He nearly died from cerebral hemorrhage last year. After many treatments he is still unable to work normally.

Liu Yue, the chief of Duodao Police Station in Jingmen City, Hubei Province actively participated in persecuting Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners. Under his instruction and participation, Jingmen practitioner Li Qingxia was kidnapped and taken to a brainwashing class and persecuted directly. Liu Yue was killed in a car accident and his wife suffered broken bones, but the rest of the passengers in the car were unharmed.
