Some Thoughts from Seeing a Red Gauze Kerchief

A newly married bride and her family and friends wanted to take a few wedding photos. Just as the bride took a red gauze kerchief out from the bag and wrapped it around her head, there suddenly appeared a few plain-clothes police. This was totally unexpected. The police grabbed the red gauze kerchief away from the bride and searched her bag, leaving it a mess. The bride and the others thought that they had bumped into a bunch of muggers, and the whole wedding party started hitting and shouting at the police. The police then realized that they had gotten the wrong person! None of the Dafa practitioners that they had arrested so far had ever fought back or cursed them. Then they explained to the bride that they were trying to arrest Falun Gong practitioners, and they thought that the red gauze kerchief was a Dafa banner. The bride said angrily, "Even if it were a Falun Gong banner, you cannot do such vicious deeds! You are nothing but a bunch of bandits!"

This incident stimulates many thoughts. This bride was merely taking out a red gauze kerchief in Tiananmen Square. Consider the police's sensitivity and the speed of their response. Now recall the scenes on television. Those people sat down in the lotus position, opened up the bottles filled with gasoline, poured the gasoline all over their bodies, started the fires with lighters, waited for the police to bring fire extinguishers over, all the while calling out slogans while engulfed in flames. How could this sequence of actions, which would draw so much attention, be completed without being detected and prevented? Who is lying? It is very clear who was behind the "self-immolation" tragedy on Tiananmen Square.
