One after Another, Lawless Officials in Hebei Province Receive Punishment According to Heaven's Law

1. Yanshan County's Assistant Party Secretary and Politics & Law Committee Secretary Wang Taichang, organized persecution against Falun Gong practitioners for the past two years. As a result of his deeds, several dozen Falun Gong practitioners were illegally sentenced, sent to forced labor camps, detained or forced to leave their home. A few hundred Falun Gong practitioners were illegally fined.

Wang Taichang currently has a nerve disorder on his face. His face is distorted and his appearance is very ugly. He has received treatment for the last few months without any improvement. He is currently staying at Shijiazhuang hospital under treatment.

2. Liu Baoting, former Party Secretary of Qingyun Township, Yanshan County, was very hostile towards Falun Gong since 1999. He treated Falun Gong practitioners very viciously. On Chinese New Year's day in 2001, he locked over thirty male and female Falun Gong practitioners together in a garage for over ten days. It was snowing heavily outside. Outside the garage everything was covered with ice and snow. Inside the garage it was very cold. He prohibited family members from sending over blankets and other daily necessities. There were only two old tires in the garage for the practitioners to take turns sitting down on. Many practitioners' hands and feet became swollen from the cold. Later on, Liu Baoting extorted money from over one hundred Falun Gong practitioners, forcing each person to pay more than one thousand Yuan as "bail." However, he never returned the money. While escorting practitioners back from appealing in Beijing after the Chinese New Year, he handcuffed a woman in her sixties in the back of the van for half the night, forcing her to stay in the standing position. The trip was over 300 kilometers (about 200 miles). The road was bumpy and it was windy and snowing. The woman could hardly bear it. Later on he handcuffed her to a tree in the yard of the township building. He finally brought her inside after he found her passed out in the morning.

In early summer, 2001, Liu Baoting unfairly settled a dispute between Hui and Han nationals. He was killed by a villager with a hunting rifle.

3. Yanshan County Police Department security team member Liu Zhenming, originally from the City Police Station, actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong. During a trip in July 2001, he ended up with a bone fracture from a car accident.

4. Party Secretary Li in Xisong Village, Xiaozhang Countryside, Yanshan County, had been closely following Jiang and Luo's gang. He kept a close eye on Falun Gong practitioners' every move and passed information from his spying to the police station. He often tore, pulled off, and desecrated Falun Gong truth clarifying materials and posters. Li's bad deeds have already caused harm to his family. His two sons were in a car accident. One died and one was hurt. Losing his son is retribution that he brought upon himself.

We sincerely urge officials at different levels to wake up and stop following Jiang and Luo's gang before you are buried alive with them in retribution for all that you have done to harm Dafa practitioners.
