Finnish Falun Gong Practitioner Appeals to German Prime Minister to Discuss Human Rights Issues During Chinese President's Visit


Dear Prime Minister Schr der,

I write this letter to you regarding the visit of the President of the People's Republic of China, Jiang Zemin, to Germany from April 8th to 13th..

I am a Falun Gong practitioner from Finland, and I am truly worried over the situation in China, where millions of Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted for almost three years. In the brutal persecution, hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent people have died. Falun Gong practitioners have been illegally sent to forced labour camps and locked up in prisons, where they are forced to bear completely inhuman treatment and severe torture every day. The person who is responsible for all this is Jiang Zemin.

I plead with you for help to end this cruel persecution. I plead with you to seriously bring this issue up during Jiang Zemin's visit. Innocent people are dying daily just because of president Jiang Zemin's orders. This persecution seriously violates the Chinese constitution, international law, and the United Nations' Declaration of Human Rights. We have to act now, and not let more innocent people die. We have to make him responsible for his actions!

People in Europe and around the world are deeply worried over the events in China. How can all this cruelty end if this issue cannot be discussed with Jiang Zemin? I sincerely hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to bring this issue closer to a resolution and help save millions of innocent lives .
