(Clearwisdom.net) At 8:00 p.m. on April 19, 2002, a St. Petersburg TV Station broadcast a "special report" about the mind and body cultivation way, Falun Dafa. The producer of the program was a young reporter who came across Falun Dafa practitioners who were protesting Jiang's brutal suppression of Falun Gong.
The ten-minute program highlighted the protest activities, as well as scenes of the practitioners practicing the exercises and promoting Dafa at Seashore Park. Although it was a short program, the audience got the opportunity to learn about the mind and body cultivation practice. During the show, the producer mentioned that he went to the Chinese embassy to get information for the program; however, the officials there told him that they did not want to comment on any of the practitioners' activities. One of the officials said that if they made negative comments about Falun Gong, that could only bring about the opposite result. It seems as if the Chinese officials have become wiser than before. Hopefully they will realize that they are violating the Russian citizens' rights by interfering with the practitioners who are promoting Dafa and clarifying the truth. We hope that more people who have been deceived will wake up and choose their own future with a clear mind.
