To celebrate the 10^th anniversary of the wide spread of Falun Gong and the World Falun Dafa Day on May 13^th, Falun Gong practitioners around the world have held numerous events, starting from the first weekend in May and reaching a climax in the next two weeks.

On May 4^th, during the Asian Pacific Heritage Parade in the southwestern Chinese community in Houston, Falun Gong practitioners won the first prize in the festooned vehicle competition among the nearly 50 groups of Asian ethnic groups that participated. Falun Gong practitioners in the Bay Area of northern California participated in the Mexican Independence Day Celebration (Cinco de Mayo) on May 5^th that attracted 100,000 people. Mexicans in America held a grand parade and celebration activities in downtown San Jose. The Chinese traditional dancing by Falun Gong practitioners brought something fresh and new to the event.

Celebrations will be held in different areas from May 10^th to May13^th. "Friends of Falun Gong" will hold the "Spring around the World" celebration party in the San Francisco Bay Area on May 10^th. Practitioners in New York, New Jersey, Sweden and other areas will also hold parades, performances and photo exhibitions. The activities are expected to reach a climax on May 13^th, the World Falun Dafa Day. The second "Falun Dafa Festival" in Canada, "Falun Dafa Week" and "Falun Dafa Month" in other areas will bring more joy and beautiful experiences to the communities and the people.
