(Clearwisdom.net) 1. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Police Frantically Arrest Practitioners Recently, the police in the Tianjiaan area of Huainan City adopted an illegal
action to hastily arrest Falun Dafa practitioners. Police resorted to the usual
means of breaking the locks and the windows of practitioners' houses, at night,
in order to arrest them. In just two days, April 23 and 24, dozens of
practitioners were arrested. They were detained in two separate places, in the
detention center and the police station. Besides the illegally detained
practitioners, there are also many more who are forced to become homeless,
wandering about to avoid capture, often leaving elderly parents and young
children at home with no one to look after them. 2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners Are Arrested Practitioner Xia Jun was arrested on the afternoon of April 25, and now his
whereabouts are unknown. Many plainclothes policemen are posted around Sanhao
Street these days. A practitioner from another city was arrested when he went to
buy blank CD's. 3. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Police Again Arrest a Practitioner Who Had
Been Previously Tortured into Mental Illness At 10 a.m., on April 29, 2002, five policemen from Fuxin Police Station
arrested at her relative's home, Li Yulan, a practitioner who had previously
been tortured into mental illness while incarcerated. The police did not present
any identification upon breaking into the house, where they arrested her and
forcibly took her away. Li was not even given time to dress, and was taken away
without pants or shoes. Li Yulan had gone to Beijing to appeal on three occasions. On October 30,
1999, she was sent into Masanjia Forced Labor Camp where she suffered inhuman
tortures, such as sleep deprivation, having cold water poured over her in
winter, and being forced to eat feces. She was tortured into mental illness and
was released in February 2001. Her sister brought Li Yulan into her home to look
after her. However, the evil thugs continue to harass her; they will not even

Written "Solemn Statements" Are Brainwashed and Tortured The first thing that Qingdao Forced Labor Camp does to practitioners who are
sent there is forced brainwashing. For those who refused to write "guarantee
letters," no matter how old or young the practitioner, the leader, Ji, directed
the collaborators [former practitioners who have gone astray due to torture
and brainwashing] and policemen to persecute them. Police kicked and punched
newly arrived practitioners and those practitioners who had published "solemn
statements" that declared null and void the "guarantee letters" they had written
under extreme duress. They used benches to hit practitioners, and beat them
until they were covered with bruises. The police routinely added twenty-five
days to the terms of practitioners who had previously written "solemn
statements," while the collaborators were praised and had their terms decreased. In August 2001, 61-year-old Guan Hongbao, a practitioner who lives in Jiaonan
City, wrote a "solemn statement" that declared invalid the "guarantee letters"
that he had previously written. Because of this, he was beaten until his eyes
were swollen shut, and there were bruises all over his body. He could not move
for several days, and even needed to be carried to the restroom. Du Zhengui, from Jiaozhou, is a 31-year-old university graduate. Because he
had written a solemn statement, he was beaten until his entire body was covered
with bruises. Xue Xinjia, from Huangdao, and several other practitioners from
Jimo, in Laixi City, were also persecuted in the same way. Police ordered
collaborators to take turns brainwashing practitioners, forbidding practitioners
to sleep. If any practitioners closed their eyes, Song Jinzhong and other
collaborators would slap and beat them or would violently pinch their legs. The list of collaborators who became the talons of evil include: Song
Jinzhong, from Jiaonan; Wang Guoli, from Jiaozhou; Fan Jiliang, from Xinjiang;
Gong Chuiai, from Jimo; and Chen Haiyin, from Qingdao. 5. [Xifeng City, Gusu Province] Liu Zhirong Is Arrested and Tortured Before the May 1 Festival, policemen from the Qingyang area in Gusu Province,
forced practitioners to be fingerprinted and required them to check in at the
police station every day. Since Liu Zhirong, a teacher at Tuanjie Primary
School, resisted the illegal requirements, firmly refusing to be fingerprinted
or to check in at the police station, he was forbidden from teaching classes.
Tuanjie Primary School Principal Song Tianxi violently beat Liu inside the
office. After the beating, the police acted in collusion with the school
principal and the Qinbalin Village president to search Liu's house and later
arrest him. During the interrogation, they beat him with various objects and
clamored that the Central Discipline Committee had issued a document saying that
beating practitioners to death is of no consequence and does not impose any
personal responsibility. Now, Liu is detained at Donggou Detention Center, and

City, Gansu Province Ransacked Falun Gong Practitioners' Property by Force and
Arbitrarily Sentenced Them to Prison The Chiefs of the National Security of Xifeng Public Security
Bureau, Fu Yukui and Zheng Xiang intentionally beat Falun Gong practitioners and
cursed them. They kept practitioners under daily surveillance, monitored their
telephone calls, followed them, searched their homes and confiscated their
property. They fined the practitioners and extorted deposit money from them
amounting from hundreds to thousands of Yuan. Since some practitioners from the
countryside are very poor and cannot afford any money to pay the fine, the
Security Bureau incited the policemen including Zhang Bin to break into the
practitioners' homes and take their grain and property. Among them, policemen
from Xiao Jin Police Substation and Dong Zhi Police Substation launched a
campaign to ransack the Falun Gong practitioners' property. When the
practitioners went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa, they were detained by force.
Among them were over 60 practitioners who had been detained many times. There
were over 30 determined practitioners who had been illegally detained before.
They were illegally sentenced from 1-3 years of imprisonment. Since the
policemen were afraid of being exposed, they secretly sent the practitioners far
away from Xi Feng city to the 1st Labor Camp at Lanzhou Honggu
District. 7. [Jinan City, Shangdong Province] After Liu Jian Was
Tortured to Death, Liu Changshan Labor Camp Transferred Three Male Practitioners
to Wangcun Labor Camp for Further Persecution The Liu Changshan Labor Camp in Jinan City, Shangdong
Province transferred three male practitioners who refused to give up Falun Dafa
to the notorious No.2 Male Camp at Wangcun Labor Camp in Zibo City, Shangdong
Province for further persecution after Liu Jian was tortured to death. They had
been detained for an extensive period. The authority threatened that if the
practitioners were not transformed, the policemen would not release them. The
practitioners' families weren't allowed to visit them either. 8. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] The "610
Office" And the Public Security Bureau in Shuangyashan City Deceitfully Arrest
Ten Practitioners Recently, the "610 Office" in Shuangyashan City conspired
with the Public Security Bureau to conduct tight searches of the kind-hearted
Falun Gong practitioners. After arresting them without any cause, they sent them
to the labor camp. Since the end of April until today, there are a dozen
practitioners including Wang Yuzhuo, Liu Shuju, Wang Lili, Kong Xiangzhu who
have been arrested. There are dozens of practitioners who are being illegally
detained in the labor camp now. Sun Shujie was taken away from home without
cause and was sent directly to the labor camp. Kong Xiangzhu has been
hospitalized after being tortured, and it is unclear whether he is still alive. On the morning of April 9th, Zhang Jinli led three
policemen at Xin'an Mineral Area in Shuanyashan City to arrest practitioners Yu
Guizhen and Yang Xiuying without cause and sent them to the labor camp. It is
said that they were the primary contact persons that Director Cai Guanxiang
reported to the city authority. The evil people who persecute Dafa are the Secretary General
of Xin'an Mineral, Tang Yingkui and the Deputy Secretary General Gao Quansheng. Practitioner Zhang Shuyun from Shuanyashan City was arrested
without a reason on February 28, 2002. In order to protest against the illegal
detention, Zhang Shuyun went on a hunger strike with no water for 19 days. The
policemen could not do anything and released her on March 26, 2002. However,
Zhang Shuyun was again arrested and illegally detained in the labor camp on
April 26 after being home for one month. Practitioner Zhang Li and Ji Haisong were arrested on March
15 and are now being held in the detention center. Since Zhang Li was arrested,
he went on hunger strike to protest. It has been half a month now. At the
beginning, he was detained for so-called public security concern and now he is
detained without just cause under criminal detention. 9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Wang Yingzi
from Dalian City, Liaoning Province Was Illegally Arrested Wang Yingzi at Jinshitang, Dalian City, Liaoning Province
went to visit her relatives on April 25 and was arrested by the policemen from
Jinshitang Public Security Bureau who drove to her relatives' home and arrested
her. Now, she is detained at Yaojia Labor Camp. 10. [Qingyan and Changqing Oil Field in Gansu Province] A

Changqing Oil Field are: Hu Qingwen, Zhang Yuling, and Wang Yongduo
