Falun Dafa Practitioner Li Zhongmin Brutally Tortured

(Clearwisdom.net) Li Zhongmin was an assistant at the Xishan Falun Dafa practice site in Dalian Economic Development Zone. He has been brutally persecuted because of his efforts to validate Dafa and expose the evil. He had been sent to Dalian Reform School, but he walked out in broad daylight with his righteous mind. He continued doing Dafa work, which made the police very angry. In order to arrest him, the branch police station transferred more than 180 policemen to the Zhongshan District Police Station of Dalian. They spent more than 40 days before they arrested him and several other practitioners at around 11:00 AM on January 11, 2002.

After he was arrested, Li Zhongmin was beaten. Later he was confined to a "vaporized cage" under a ballroom floor (It was extremely dry in the "vaporized cage." If a basin of water were to be poured onto the ground it would dry immediately.) Moreover, the police bound him to a "tiger stool"[Practitioners' knees are tightly tied on a small iron bench. Usually some hard objects are inserted underneath the practitioner's lower legs or ankles to make it harder for them to tolerate this abuse.]All day long there was a great deal of noise coming from the ballroom upstairs. It was extremely hot. This was how the evil police tortured this Dafa practitioner. On the 4^th day of the confinement, Li Zhongmin was hung up and beaten. He endured around-the-clock interrogation and beatings by keeping his mind strong. Even the police could not help but respect him.

After 6 days of torture, he was sent to Dalian Detention Center. Since Li Zhongmin went on a hunger strike to protest, he was tortured again. Before he was arrested, he was strong and healthy, but he was reduced to a skeleton and still the police would not leave him alone. They tortured him by binding him with both arms and legs fully stretched out to the sides and force-feeding him. At this point, because of the torture he has endured, Li Zhongmin, looks like a 50 or 60-year old man despite his true age of only 30. It is painful to see the state he has been reduced to.

We appeal to the righteous and kind people of the world to stand up against the persecution occurring in China.
