I would like to extend my apologies for not being able to be
with you today to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the annual Falun
Dafa celebrations here in Toronto.
In these trying times where it seems that we are surrounded
by violent expressions of hatred and revenge, it is important to remember and
practice the universal values of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance, all of
which are principles of the Falun Dafa, and all of which Canadians can well
appreciate. It is this spirit that I would like to congratulate Falun Dafa
practitioners here in Canada, and around the world, for their contributions and
continued dedication in achieving a more harmonious society.
