(Clearwisdom.net) On May 11, 2002, in Taiwan's Chung-li Area Falun Dafa practitioners held a peaceful parade to celebrate the third World Falun Dafa Day, and share with the public our happiness at obtaining the Fa. This relaxed and lively parade activity broadened our view on Fa-spreading methods and allowed us to draw close to the crowd.

At 8:30 a.m., practitioners gathered at Zhongzheng Park. Our activities included sending forth righteous thoughts, holding peaceful parade and practicing the exercises. Besides distributing Dafa flyers as usual, practitioners also prepared balloons. Colorful balloons made the Zhongzheng Park extraordinarily lively and beautiful. At 9:05 a.m. after sending forth righteous thoughts, practitioners started a peaceful parade. We divided into four groups and circled the Chung-li urban district from four different directions. Colorful balloons and Falun Dafa music Pudu and Jishi attracted many passersby to our parade.

Practitioners demonstrated the exercises in front of department stores and the city's government building where many people were gathering. We met a reporter from Zhonghua Daily. He said he saw us gathering in front of Zhongzheng Park in the early morning, and followed us to the city's government building to interview us. After learning our schedule and appeal, he expressed his understanding and concern of things like Falun Gong's core principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," relentless persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in the Mainland and the significance of World Falun Dafa Day.

Another group of practitioners came across people lining up to wait for special vehicles to take them to hospitals. Practitioners stopped and handed out Dafa flyers and introduced Dafa to them. They all happily accepted our Dafa flyers.

Practitioners deepened their understanding of the Fa through the parade. For instance, while distributing Dafa truth-clarifying literature, if we met people who wouldn't support Dafa, we realized that we needed to be more diligent in studying the Fa and be more compassionate and wise so that people can finally accept the truth about Falun Gong. Though we felt tired, we realized that the significance of our parade in awakening people's sense of conscience. So no one complained regardless of whether they were women over 80 years old or only four to five year-old children.

Practitioners gathered again at the Zhongzheng Park after the parade. The entire activity concluded at 12:00 noon after practitioners sending forth righteous thoughts.
