Atlanta Practitioners Hold Celebration Activities to Commemorate the 10th Anniversary of Falun Dafa Being Introduced to the Public (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 13, the day marking World Falun Dafa Day, the 10^th anniversary of our great benevolent Teacher teaching the Fa and over 60 Atlanta practitioners held an entirely new type of celebration activities. Decorated with colorful balloons and flower wreaths, the characters of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" and "Falun Dafa" were very eye-catching. Dressed in their holiday best, practitioners sang and danced to show the wonderfulness and sacredness of Dafa. They used large display boards to show people the history of Falun Dafa over the past ten years.

At the beginning of the ceremony, layer upon layer of dark clouds blew in on strong winds. But practitioners were not affected at all. They sent forth righteous thoughts to completely eliminate the evil trying to damage Dafa in other dimensions. Shortly after, the dark clouds disappeared. People with predestined relationships continuously came here to ask for Dafa flyers or to follow practitioners on the small stage to do the elegant exercises. A practitioner performed a flute solo entitled, "Nine Pairs of Shoes" [a piece commemorating a practitioner who used 9 pairs of shoes to walk to Beijing to appeal for the restoration of Falun Dafa.] Passersby stopped to listen. Attendees there all truly felt the vast righteousness. Nine female practitioners in white dresses sang the songs "On One's Way Home", "Be Saved" and "Falun Dafa Is Good". Two female practitioners performed a beautiful dance with colorful fans and silk scarves, as if the heavenly girls had come to the human world. The songs and dances showed people the wonderfulness and sacredness of Dafa. Using the small stage, disciples also expressed their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to our honorable and compassionate Teacher who has been suffering all kinds of hardship to save us and other sentient beings.

The director of the local Overseas Chinese Community, Mr. Zhao Zengyi has been very supportive of Falun Gong. He took the bus to the Downtown Park to join the celebration. He said sincerely: "I see that you practitioners are truly peaceful and kind, which touched me very much. Your Teacher is so great! May your Teacher have a happy birthday. May people in the whole world be happy!" A few sentences expressed the aspirations of kind-hearted people. The celebration lasted 3 hours. Practitioners spent only 3 days preparing such a wonderful set of musical and dance performances. Practitioners used their wisdom obtained from Dafa and their diamond-like determination in Dafa once again showed people the wonderfulness of Dafa. In the end, all practitioners on or off the stage sang joined together with the audience singing the song "Falun Dafa Is Good". The celebration concluded in chorus of birthday greetings to our great Teacher.
