(Clearwisdom.net) Some friends felt confused since Falun Gong teaches that we must not collect money nor build organizations, where does the money come from for supporting these large-scale overseas activities and the cost of printing huge amounts of the Dafa truth-clarification materials in Mainland China?

I am an ordinary Dafa practitioner making Dafa truth-clarification materials in a small town in China. Practitioners placed their own carefully saved money in my hands - 10 Yuan here, 20 Yuan there. Many made a long and hard journey to get to me just to donate a small amount. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for them. Most of the money was from the little bit of earnings of those unemployed Dafa practitioners. Some practitioners have savings. They took out their own savings to buy a copying machine when it was needed the most. An elderly woman in her 70's used her life savings of 5,000 Yuan to let us buy the first machine we used. This elderly woman, in Chinese culture affectionately and respectfully known as "Grandma," said that saving lives was the most critical thing to do. Later on she was illegally detained twice.

Someone was not cultivating Falun Dafa, but he supported his family member who cultivated Falun Dafa. A daughter of a 60-year-old lay Buddhist was making Dafa truth-clarification materials in a city. One time her machine was ransacked; the materials site was destroyed. She wanted to buy another machine but she did not have any money. The lay Buddhist took out a savings certificate, but it was still not enough money. He sold his cow to cover the amount of money needed to buy the machine. The lay Buddhist's wife carried materials from her daughter's place and the lay Buddhist distributed them around his neighborhood.

There was another heart-touching story. A husband saw that his wife had benefited physically and mentally from practicing Falun Gong. He then knew that Falun Gong was good. His wife and many other practitioners went to appeal for Falun Gong many times, lived frugally in order to clarify the truth, and walked many miles to distribute Dafa materials. When the Dafa truth-clarification materials had run out, she handwrote over 100 copies. The husband felt sorry for her and was moved. He told his wife: "I support you to practice Falun Gong." He read the materials first when they came and also helped to distribute them. Sometimes he took his wife on the back seat of his motorcycle and drove to other villages to distribute materials. After a few trips he said, "I now know Dafa is really good." He told everybody he met that Falun Dafa is good, clarifying the truth and exposing the lies everywhere. A lot of people learned the truth from him and changed their wrong views about Dafa.

These are just a few of the many stories of how practitioners have been able to print truth clarification materials and let the world know the true story of the persecution against Dafa.
