Austria Practitioners Hold Candlelight Vigil outside Chinese Embassy to Call for Release of Arrested Western Practitioner (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) Upon learning that Austrian Falun Gong practitioner Alexander Hamrle had been arrested in Changchun, China and that no one knew his whereabouts, some practitioners in Austria went to the Chinese Embassy to hold a candlelight vigil calling for Alexander's immediate release.

It has been reported that Austria citizen, Alexander Hamrle was arrested on May 13 in Changchun City, China, where Falun Dafa was founded. On the 10th anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction, he planned to tell the residents of Changchun that "Falun Dafa is good" and that Jiang Zemin's persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners is unjust. He described his personal experiences and views in a letter that he intended to hand out to the citizens of Changchun.
