• A young female practitioner who worked for a school posted flyers at noon and was taken to the police station upon being caught. No matter what the question was, she replied with a smile, saying, "I will not tell you!" Later, she thought, "Turn the other way so I can get up and leave." Suddenly, the policemen all turned to face the other direction at the same time, as if obeying a command. Thus the practitioner was able to get up and leave with her dignity intact.

• Several policemen went to the house of a practitioner and were unable to get in. The practitioner had locked all the gates and doors so the police finally jumped over the wall into the yard and begged the practitioner to open the door for them. The practitioner said, "You intend to persecute me, so I will not open the door for you." The police had few choices, finally deciding to ask, "Ok, you open the door and let us out." The practitioner replied in a tone of sincerity and righteousness, "You can leave by the same way you entered." The police had to jump the wall again.

• A practitioner who had been sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp staged a hunger strike to protest her persecution. She was released before the end of her original sentence because her family agreed to write a pledge to stop her from continuing her practice of Falun Gong. After her release, she decided to demand that camp officials return the pledge that her family had given, otherwise she would stay imprisoned in the camp. The team leader said, "You have already been released. We don't want to take you back. The pledge will be mailed to you." This past February she was arrested again while handing out truth-clarification materials and was to be sent back to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. The camp refused to take her upon learning that it was her again, thus she was released right away.

• A practitioner was explaining the truth about Dafa and the persecution to a storeowner one day. Suddenly, the straw piled in the yard caught fire and the fire grew bigger and bigger. The owner panicked. The practitioner calmed down right away and sent forth righteous thoughts, thinking, "The fire shouldn't grow because I am clarifying the truth to her." Right after, the fire suddenly became smaller and eventually died out. The owner was wholly convinced and thanked her many times, expressing her desire to learn Falun Gong.

• A practitioner in charge of reading meters for a water company often travels to a local detention center to read the meter there. Once, after his work was done, he chatted with four or five guards and mentioned Falun Gong. He talked about how our teacher saves all beings, the evil persecution, the staged immolation in Tiananmen Square, etc. The guards were quite interested in what he had to say. Over an hour later, a policeman said, "You are promoting Falun Gong here. Aren't you afraid of being arrested?" The practitioner replied with righteous thoughts, "You won't arrest me. You all have kind hearts. Moreover, there are many Dafa practitioners detained here and you all know what kind people they are. You may not be able to choose your job, but the choice to do good or vicious deeds can only be made by you, yourselves. You should cherish your kind hearts because evil people will sooner or later be punished." The police looked at each other and had nothing to say.
