Since November 2001, the '610' Office of Guizhou Province has commenced its plan of holding so-called 'Law Study Classes' to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. The '610' Office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems, and the 'Law Study Classes' are actually brainwashing classes.

Among all of these classes, the 'Zhongba State Farm Law Study Class', as the province-level brainwashing site, is the one that has most cruelly maltreated practitioners in this region. The provincial '610' Office first created a blacklist of practitioners and then periodically issued it to each level government. The workplaces of the practitioners who have been forced to attend this brainwashing class were ordered to pay 4000 Yuan per practitioner as the training fees. In addition to that, each attendant was forced to pay 2000 Yuan as living expenses, keeping in mind that the average monthly income in cities and towns in China is 400 Yuan. Each level of the '610' office forcibly sent practitioners to 'Law Study Classes' through various illegal means, such as deceiving, threatening, and kidnapping.

At the present, a few hundred practitioners have been sent to 'Law Study Classes' in Guizhou province.

Upon being sent to the class site, everyone was immediately subject to 24-hours of close monitoring. They were locked up in rooms. Every day, each practitioner would meet with 5 or 10 'assistants' who 'educated' him or her in turn using various brainwashing means including spreading rumors, slanderous talks, mental torture and incentives of personal benefits. Their intent was to force practitioners to give up Falun Dafa cultivation practice through all such illegal methods. If they did not reach their goals, they sent practitioners to the second term or even the third term classes. If they still failed, they sent practitioners to labor camps directly without any judicial procedures.

On March 5, 2002, in order to prevent practitioners from appealing in Beijing for Falun Gong, the police from Yunyan District Public Security Sub-bureau of Guiyang City kidnapped 9 practitioners and sent them to the 'HaitianYuan Law Study Class.' During the 31 days of illegal detention there, these practitioners have resisted the brainwashing successfully with their righteous thoughts. After their 'education' failed, they forcibly sent practitioner Xu Xueying and Sun Liping to Zhongba State Farm Labor Camp without via any legal procedures.

We hereby appeal to all the kind-hearted people worldwide to support Falun Gong practitioners who have been following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. To fellow practitioners who have read this news: please send forth righteous thoughts together to eliminate all those vicious persecutions imposed on our practitioners as well as the interference to the Fa-rectification process.
