Austrian Practitioner Abducted in Changchun Returns to Vienna

(Clearwisdom.net) Austrian Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Alexander Hamrle traveled to Changchun, China to tell as many of the Chinese people as possible that Falun Dafa is good. Police illegally abducted him in the process. This caused strong reactions from both the Austrian government and people. Due to the unrest that resulted, the Austrian Government and several members of the Austrian media implemented a successful rescue effort on Mr. Hamrle's behalf. Mr. Hamrle safely returned to Vienna on the evening of May 16, 2002.

We appeal to the Chinese government to release all detained Falun Dafa practitioners immediately. We call on all kindhearted people to work together to stop this brutal persecution of honest people who practice "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance."
