Debilitating Symptoms Disappear After Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts

This story concerns a certain Dafa practitioner, a woman of about forty. Ever since she obtained the Fa, she has been using it as her cultivation guide.

One day in March 2002, she suddenly felt ill. The symptoms of her illness were similar to those of cerebral thrombosis - she lost control of her limbs, and she had to rely on someone to assist her in moving around. Because of what happened, her relatives tried desperately to get assistance from the local hospital and nursing home.

To communicate with other people, this practitioner could only use her eyes and broken, garbled speech. Although her daughter was not a practitioner, she knew her mother's needs well. Hence, she stayed by her bedside and frequently read aloud to her mother passages from Dafa books. Knowing well that her present condition was actually interference set up by the evil, a "trial" pre-arranged by the "old forces," one that Teacher did not recognize, the practitioner was determined not to accept the outcome. "It is a hurdle I must overcome," she told herself. The Fa-rectification formula taught by Teacher is a powerful tool for breaking through such obstacles. Hence, from the first day she had the symptoms, she kept sending forth righteous thoughts. A day went past, then the second day and the third day... She still could not help herself with food and drink and had difficulty sleeping. However, she kept sending forth righteous thoughts unceasingly. After four days and nights, something miraculous happened. "I should be able to sit up now," she started telling herself, "and I should be able to get down from the bed, hold the book Zhuan Falun and read it on my own..." She succeeded doing all that!

A miracle has occurred once again for a Dafa practitioner. The neighbors were shocked at first, but were excited and happy about the whole thing, and her relatives were moved to tears. As a gesture of appreciation, her daughter placed a big pineapple in front of Teacher's picture. All her business associates were amazed, and started saying in praise, "Falun Dafa is good, Falun Dafa is the genuine Buddha Law!"
