Clarifying the Truth to the Chinese Diplomatic Delegations in Japan

(Clearwisdom.net) To celebrate the 30^th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relationship between the Chinese and Japanese governments, the Chinese government sent a delegation of 5,000 to Japan in May 2002. On May 7 and 8, they arrived in Tokyo in separate groups. On May 9, they participated in a ceremony to celebrate the friendship between China and Japan. After that, the delegation visited Osaka, Nagoya and Nagasaki, and appeared in a number of activities for the public. To us, this was an invaluable opportunity to promote Dafa. The followings are some of our experiences and thoughts.

1. On May 8^th, five of us arrived at the Narita Airport in Tokyo. Wearing our Dafa clothes and holding the small yellow flags that read Zhen-Shan-Ren, we stood right before the reception area and smiled at those coming out from the customs area. Many of the Chinese delegates saw our flags and some exclaimed, "Zhen-Shan-Ren, Falun Gong!" A man said to the group, "See? Falun Gong is welcoming all of you." We were very happy to see that these Chinese people had the opportunity to witness Falun Gong practitioners practicing and promoting Dafa freely outside of China.

We were not allowed to distribute flyers in the premises of the airport. I was somewhat anxious about this. However, as the delegates were moving towards the exit and were about to board the bus, I quickly took out my materials and handed the flyers out one by one from the end of the line. Some of them quietly took the flyers as I moved from the end of the line to the front. When I recalled what I did that day, I felt that I was breaking through a layer of my shell. As a practitioner, I understand that I have to overcome obstacles, break all bonds, and take advantage of each opportunity to clarify truth to every person who has a predestinated relationship with me.

2. May 9 marked the first day of their official activities. They attended the ceremony to celebrate the friendship between Japan and China in the International Conference Center in Tokyo from 7 to 9 p.m. We were told that 3,500 Chinese delegates and 1,500 Japanese delegates participated in the ceremony. When they lined up to get into the hall, we went up, greeted them briefly, and handed out our flyers. Some of them took the flyers, but many of them didn't or didn't dare to for fear of being seen and penalized.

At 9 p.m., I raised a meter long Chinese banner that said 'Falun Dafa is good' and waited for the first group of Chinese guests outside the International Conference Center. When they arrived, I went up to them with my banner. My banner was made of yellow cloth with red characters on it, and looked very attractive. I loudly said, " Please remember that Falun Dafa is good. Falun Gong is being falsely accused and persecuted inside China. Please do not listen to the media propaganda. They lie." Meanwhile, other practitioners distributed materials and clarified the truth. We stayed there until the last bus took the final group of guests away.

3. At 8.30 p.m. on May 9, we found a lot of police patrolling around the area. They did not allow us to walk past the road, stay outside the International Conference Center or distribute the flyers. The police said that they knew about Falun Gong, but they had to carry out the orders given by their supervisors. They asked us to go to other streets. A practitioner told us that she would not leave. She said although she was not allowed to hand out materials, she would stand there in her Dafa clothes and let the delegates see her. A few of us stayed with her.

While we were standing there, we quieted our selves down and sent forth righteous thoughts. When the delegation was coming close, we yelled, "Falun Dafa is good," and waved to them. Meanwhile, we also played Dafa music. Many of them smiled at us, and some of them waved back to us. One even said, "keep up the good work." Both sides were quite friendly to each other. The police asked us what we yelled about and we told them. They looked around and seemed to understand. They left later.

Through this experience, we have realized that saving humans is the most sacred thing to do. We understand that when our hearts are in their right place, and since Master has given us the precious tool of sending righteous thoughts, we can undoubtedly eliminate the evils' arrangement and create opportunities for saving the sentient beings. We also experienced the immense power of righteous thoughts.
