Falun Gong Practitioner He Zhenyue Persecuted in Ziyang City, Sichuan Province

He Zhenyue was male and 35 years old. He had earned a bachelor's degree from Sichuan Geology College. He was sub-team chief of the Ziyang City Well-stabilizing Team's No. 2 Department of Geology Ministry, an electrical engineer who had been presented with many honors, such as "Excellent Official Award" and "Outstanding Worker Award," and a Party member. Ever since middle school, Mr. He had searched earnestly for the truth of life. It was not until February 1999, when he read the book Zhuan Falun that he finally found what he was looking for. From then on, he started on the path of Dafa cultivation with determination. He used the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" as his standard of conduct and he thought of others before himself at all times. During the night of February 3, 2002, police surrounded a Dafa materials site at Jiaoshiyuan, Jiuliti in Chengdu City. Five young practitioners were present at the time, including He Zhenyue, Wang Kai and Wu Mingzhong. The lawless police officers broke the iron bars on the window, smashed in both the front and back doors, broke into the room and brutally beat the practitioners. The thugs also kidnapped the practitioners and illegally detained them. The arrested practitioners all refused to give their identities to the police, held hunger strikes and didn't cooperate with the evil. They have been illegally detained since then.
