The Deputy Chairman of the Sichuan Province, Yingshan Area Mozi Street Community Committee Dies Suddenly from Illness

Long Yunbi, the Deputy Chairman of the Sichuan Province, Yingshan Area Mozi Street Community Committee, was a healthy, strong fifty-seven-year-old woman. She had been monitoring the activities of Falun Dafa practitioners since the start of the persecution. One day in May 2001, around noontime, she discovered that female practitioner Luo was reading a Falun Dafa book. She dashed into Luo's house, violently pulled off Luo's pants and then proceeded to run while dragging Luo by her feet. She pulled Luo around for dozens of meters. Luo's scalp was badly hurt, and her body was cut and bruised all over. Long Yunbi's cruel acts angered the people who witnessed the incident. In August 2001, Long suddenly fell ill and died a day and a half later. The doctors who examined her couldn't determine the cause of her illness. Finally, her husband Wang Zhengming said, "I told her not to beat those good people (Falun Dafa practitioners). She just wouldn't listen to me. She didn't die of illness! She received retribution for her bad deeds!"
