Practitioners from San Jose, California, Participate in the Huge Cinco de Mayo Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) May 5th is a special day for Mexican immigrants living in America, who celebrate Mexico'sIndependence Day with a huge parade in downtown San Jose, California where many of them have come to live. The holiday, known as "Cinco de Mayo", commemorates the Battle of Puebla in Mexico that happened on May 5th to establish Mexico's indepence.. Over a hundred thousand people came to the downtown area to view the floats, colorful costumes, marching bands, drill teams and assortment of decorated entries that have become a very popular annual event. Falun Gong practitioners from the San Francisco Bay area in Northern California also participated in the parade and utilized this opportunity to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to more people.

1. The Grand Procession

Practitioners from many areas came to the downtown area in the early morning. Dressing in yellow practice uniforms, they were very eye-catching. Every practitioner came to attend this Fa-spreading and truth-clarification activity with a compassionate and serene heart. The original cloudy sky suddenly became sunny. In a peaceful and serene atmosphere, our parade began.


2. Dance with fans made the parade colorful

Accompanied with Dafa music "Pudu", practitioners choreographed the "Dance with fans". Their graceful dance gained warm applause.

3. Experience sharing

  • Pure mind and righteous thoughts

No matter what activities we participate in, we must remind ourselves that we are Dafa disciples. We first need to rectify the field with our clear and pure righteous thoughts, eliminate the evil force's interference and purify our activity place. We did so and felt that today's atmosphere became very peaceful. People all smiled joyfully.

  • The process of Fa-rectification is accelerating, sentient beings are also changing

With the acceleration of the Fa-rectification, more and more people understand what Falun Dafa is. Wherever our parade passed, spectators all warmly applauded. Some raised their hands and shouted :"Falun Dafa is good!" Some even shouted in Chinese: "Falun Dafa is good!" A middle-aged man shouted: "Dafa is good!" Practitioners waved towards spectators and felt very happy for these people's kind hearts.
