A lot of you in the audience are from other regions, and a good number are from Australia. This time I mainly came to meet with you, and I don't want to say too much. Looking at the overall situation of Dafa disciples right now in the Fa-rectification, I think things are good. You're doing really well in some regards, and a bit poor in others. But the overall, main body is doing really well. There are a lot of things you still aren't able to do well as Dafa disciples, though, and I can tell you that this is in fact because you've neglected Fa-study. The reason is, your surface, which is still assimilating to the Fa, needs to be constantly improved, and as you constantly improve, the things that you need to cultivate away have to be arranged for. Every realm has its own state of being. If you remain stagnant, you definitely won't be able to keep up with the Fa-rectification. When you do well in the Fa-rectification, I can see that it's always because you are able to understand the Fa from the Fa; and when you do somewhat poorly, I can see that it's because you aren't making a priority of Fa-study and you aren't able to understand the Fa from the Fa. As a Dafa disciple, no matter what the situation or what the circumstances, you have to study the Fa, and you can't neglect your own assimilation and improvement; you can't forget to study the Fa. If you don't study the Fa well, you won't be able to do Dafa work well. And when you run into conflicts or problems that need to be resolved, you won't be able to balance things and you'll have arguments. Of course, I don't think it's necessarily bad that you have arguments when conflicts arise. That's because in cultivation what you have to do is get rid of attachments, and in cultivation what you have to do is improve yourself; so those ordinary human attachments of yours have to be exposed so that you can get rid of them. But sometimes, because we don't keep up our Fa-study, we handle like an ordinary person some of the things we do to spread the Fa and save sentient beings. This makes a lot of the sacred things we do not so sacred, it prevents us from doing them well, and it also causes people in society not to understand us sometimes. So it not only prevents you from improving, but also causes Dafa some losses.
As you know, in the time following April 25th of 1999, in many regions of the world nobody other than Dafa disciples knew what Falun Gong was about. That was the case for a lot of regions around the world. When the persecution against us first started, all the world's media wanted to know what Falun Gong was about. But nobody was able to get positive materials, and they all copied what the lie-breeding media in China published. Of course, a lot of international media didn't do that intentionally--they had to report on it. Think about it, in that environment, and under that kind of overwhelming pressure, we have been able to rectify the Fa in the human world to this extent, to have the world's people come to really know us, and to have people all over the world truly see what we're about. That's no easy feat. This shows that you've indeed done really well validating the Fa, and that's what allowed you to achieve so much. If we're careless [with our conduct], then there's a good chance we'll cause losses as a result of our conduct not conforming to the Fa. So we really have to pay attention to these things.
Since you are indeed busy these days, with many of you having volunteered to shoulder a lot of work, this makes it hard for you to focus when you do Fa-study. You're always thinking about Fa-rectification things and aren't able to quiet your mind when you study the Fa. Then you're actually studying in vain. If you can't study the Fa rationally and clearheadedly, you're studying in vain, and you're wasting your time. So you have to recognize this. I know that you're busy and are working hard, and that some disciples sleep only a little each night. You're doing so many things, and you have to study the Fa and do other things, too, of course. So sometimes I can't tell you that you have to do this or have to do that. When it comes to specific things, it's completely up to you to work them out--you have to figure out for yourself how to handle them and arrange them better.
Also, I've seen that certain problems that were more prominent several years ago have become noticeable again recently. Which problems? Many of the students outside Mainland China have a lot of skills and have advanced knowledge, and they hold academic degrees among everyday people. In other words, your thinking is clear and you are very capable. And that's why you have indeed done a lot of things quite well. This is especially so when you were proactive about doing things well. But, exactly because you're capable, problems come up when each of you has a good idea. You have a good idea, he has a good idea, too, and everyone thinks that his own idea is good... this is usually how arguments happen. And when you argue, because you've neglected your day-to-day Fa-study or have slacked off in your cultivation, you fall into ordinary people's ways of arguing.
A Dafa disciple should put the Fa first in everything he does--whenever you evaluate something you have to consider the Fa first. You probably remember something I've said to you often: a Dafa disciple should consider others first in everything he does. Whenever something happens or whenever a situation comes about, even if it's a minor thing, my first thought is of others, for it's already become natural for me--I just think of others first. If all of you can do this, there won't be any of that stubborn arguing in your validating the Fa; if you really have a solid foundation like this and are able to calm yourselves, consider others, and examine yourselves when anything happens, I think you'll be able to handle a lot of things well. Sometimes you really argue like everyday people, and a very small number of you even get so worked up when you're arguing that you become flush with emotion, and you even disregard your surroundings and the effect it has in society, completely handling yourselves as everyday people. But you're a cultivator, a Dafa disciple--not just an ordinary cultivator. You all know that no matter how wild the evil gets, it won't last. The closer it gets to the end, the more evil it acts when it's affected by the force of Fa-rectification, and this tells us that that must be its final wild act. If this thing really ends one day, the first thing that will be done is to have Fa-rectification Dafa disciples be Consummated and returned to their positions. At that time, when you look back at the path you've traveled, everything will be clear to you. Of course, a Buddha, Dao, or God who's fully Consummated at his position won't think about things like whether he did well or not --it will just be like a dream is over, and he won't even think about it. However, your performance during the present process is forging you and establishing everything of yours. Whoever misses this opportunity, or doesn't do a certain thing well, will see at that time the cause of his mistake.
In this Fa-rectification, the best opportunity has been created for the colossal firmament's sentient beings; all sentient beings have the best opportunity to lay a foundation for their future. The same is true for Dafa disciples. The fruits of your cultivation, your position, your mighty virtue, and everything of your future is also established in this opportunity of Fa-rectification. Then, if you don't do everything well, you're really letting yourself down! So when you argue with ordinary human attachments, I think to myself: "If they saw the true situation, they wouldn't argue even if they were asked to." But it's exactly because you can't see the true situation and you have ordinary human attachments that you can cultivate here. When you have ordinary human attachments, you can validate the Fa; when you don't have those attachments, you won't be able to validate the Fa, and you won't be able to stay here anymore; in other words, you won't be able to cultivate anymore. But I need to ask you to seriously think about how you can make the most of these existing conditions and do even better.
No matter how busy you are, you have to see yourself as a Dafa disciple; no matter how busy you are, you have to consider how you might affect those around you. Since April 25th of 1999 and after July 20th, the evil has used the scoundrel means of slander and put us on the defensive, causing the minds of numerous beings to be poisoned. In your efforts to save sentient beings you've labored so hard to allow people to have a new understanding of us. So when you don't do well, it's quite possible you are unwittingly undermining the efforts you've made and some of the things you plan to do. You are cultivators, whose conduct is [supposed to be] pure and righteous. There are so many people who think you're great just by having seen how you act. If we don't pay attention to our own behavior in our daily lives, everyday people will see our actions and, since they can't get to know you at a deep level such as by studying the Fa, they will just look at how you act. And it's possible that one sentence or one action of yours will make them unsavable or create a bad impression of Dafa. We need to think about these things.
Being your Master, of course I can see your shortcomings, and of course I can see your problems. Every single word and every single action of yours, for example, I know what's included in it. Usually your Master doesn't teach you the Fa on an individual basis. That's because if I were to point out someone's problem to him individually, his mind would be hit really hard, and this might in fact affect him. That's why I rarely speak to someone individually that way. But when I bring up these problems in a large forum, don't think I'm not referring to you.
There are many Kings in the heavens. As you know, Sakyamuni said that the number of Tathagatas is like the number of grains of sand in the Ganges River. Think about how many grains of sand India's Ganges River has! And there's more than that--what Sakyamuni said was in a figurative sense. Every Tathagata is a Fa-King. And the Buddha School isn't the only one--the Buddha School is only one widespread type that has a huge number of Gods. How many Gods are there? How many Kings like that are there? If every King handled things the way you do when something happens, that'd be big trouble. They don't have those kinds of arguments, which aren't consistent with their levels. Of course, they can see the truth and they can see the best way, but often they, too, have certain differences in some of their views. But they would never argue. They are in a state of immense tolerance, of mercy toward all beings, and of being able to understand everything with kindness. To put it in human terms, they're always able to be understanding of others. So sometimes we shouldn't "burrow into the horn's point"[1] with strong everyday people's attachments, be unable to get out of it for a long time, and get more attached the more we think about it--the more you think about it the more your mind seethes, and the more you think about it the more demons take advantage of you. When you're not coolheaded, I'll tell you, that's when demons are using you. I don't care how long you've cultivated for, and it doesn't matter what reputation you have among Dafa disciples, I can guarantee that's what's going on when you're not paying attention to these things. Let me tell you, no matter how well you've cultivated, as long as you still have everyday people's attachments, those are what demons can use, and when you're not paying attention they can be used at any moment. So as a Dafa disciple, you should try your best to restrain those everyday people's attachments, try your best to prevent them from having an effect, try your best to walk a righteous path, and try your best, in all environments and with everything that happens, to conduct yourself in an open and dignified manner, to be tolerant and broad-minded, to be able to understand others, and to be able to consider all perspectives. Then, I think you might be able to do a lot of things well. Acting this way is not compromising! Everybody can share their views and you can evaluate them in a kind manner.
So having said all that I have, it in fact all boils down to cultivation issues. In Fa-rectification you still need to read and study the Fa more. Actually, this isn't to criticize you. Since I'm your Master I can of course see your shortcomings. You call me Master, so I have to tell you what your shortcomings are, and then you should recognize them. Of course, I often praise you as well, like "Dafa disciples are remarkable, magnificent," and "You've done so well." But too many of these words doesn't do you a lot of good. Many times when Master sees that you're doing so well, I keep my happiness for you to myself.
Every Dafa disciple is doing things proactively to validate the Fa and save sentient beings, and Master sees this. This is something that today's everyday people couldn't do. The students outside Mainland China are devoting themselves fully to this, and everybody is doing what they're supposed to do in this Fa-rectification period. Meanwhile, the students in China have their ways of doing things, while you, the students outside of Mainland China, have your ways of doing things. All of you are remarkable. It's not that everyone has to do the same things; every person is doing in his own environment what a Dafa disciple is supposed to do at this time. You're doing it from your heart, and each disciple is safeguarding the Fa and saving sentient beings really just like a particle of Dafa. From this perspective, the world's people can't compare.
You know, nowhere else is there anything like what the evil gang in China has at its disposal for attacking people. You could say that they've gathered all the means from all times and all lands. On top of that, the thinking of today's Chinese people, after going through various political struggles, has warped into something more and more crafty and cunning, and so the bad things they do are terribly evil. But despite this, a lot of people are being used and made to do bad things, so they aren't really trying to damage the Fa from their hearts. We do see this. No matter what methods the evil uses or how much money they spend, they can't achieve what they want to achieve in damaging Dafa. We're doing these things with our hearts, while they're doing things with money--they could never compare. They have such a powerful state propaganda machine, they have consulates all over the world, and they have such an enormous army. What we face is an evil political gang of scoundrels like that who want to suppress us. In just a short time we've been able to help people all around the world truly recognize this evil persecution--isn't that remarkable? Isn't that something only achievable by Dafa disciples' doing things from their hearts? Isn't that something only achievable by Dafa disciples taking the initiative to do things? Of course, the evil will never have any chance of success in its attempts to damage the Fa of the cosmos.
Of course, a lot of things aren't as simple as everyday people think they are. Doing whatever one wants isn't allowed, and this goes for the evil, too. I've said that the old forces have made very detailed, thorough, and systematic arrangements in history for the entire Fa-rectification period and everything that manifests during the Fa-rectification. Although it's this chaotic--chaotic to this extent--and this evil--evil to this extent--still, around the whole world, including in China, including all of it, there are still a lot of very bad beings in the ordinary human society and in every dimension that have not taken part in this. They're all being restrained. In other words, they have no part in it, and they're not allowed to take part, regardless of whether they're good ones or bad ones--there are ones from both groups. Things look like they have no order, but they're in fact very orderly. The evil beings that have participated in this seem to be acting maliciously, but the old forces are merely using them, and the purpose of their using them is to have us clear away those pieces of trash in the universe during the Fa-rectification. The evil beings can't see the true situation and they act rampantly. When the true situation reveals itself, all beings, and this includes everyday people, will exclaim with astonishment: "Wow! So that's how it was!"
Of course, the things in this environment are different from the situation in an environment like Mainland China. To talk about things related to the Fa-rectification or saving sentient beings under that kind of evil pressure and in that kind of situation, where the dimensions are filled with evil, is different from talking about them here. But even so, it's actually because the old forces insist on testing Dafa disciples' xinxing that they've done this. That's definitely the case. If it weren't, this definitely wouldn't have happened. The best way to deal with this situation is for Dafa disciples to walk their paths righteously, to try their best not to let the evil or the old forces take advantage of their gaps, and to solidify their righteous thoughts. The old forces don't dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What's key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things.
Let me use this chance to mention one minor thing. As you know, our manpower is very limited right now, so in your efforts to validate the Fa, don't neglect things when you turn your attention to something else. In other words, we shouldn't focus all of our efforts on one thing. We should try our best to cover things as a whole and do a good job with all the things we're now working on.
I won't say much more. I know you've all been working hard. Today I haven't praised you too much, but I know that everybody has in fact completely devoted himself to the task of validating the Fa. You see that there are lots of things to do, and you are anxious and want to do them well. Master sees all this. It's not just me who sees it. I'll tell you, all beings in the cosmos are watching closely. The surface of matter is composed of sequences of molecules, and the overall Fa-rectification has already reached the point of this surface. But even though things at this surface look very coarse to the human eye, in actuality, gigantic, microcosmic systems have seeped into it and it, too, is very complex. In the Fa-rectification, breakthroughs toward the surface are already being made. In other words, it's now about to approach what human beings can see. In the microcosm, though, it also corresponds to gigantic dimensions, and there are still massive groups of beings there. So there is still a pretty massive number of beings who need to be saved by the Fa-rectification, and the situation is complex. All sentient beings are closely watching everything we're doing. There are eyes everywhere in this cosmos, and both the beings that have been rectified and the beings that haven't been are watching. The beings in the new cosmos are eagerly longing for the ultimate conclusion, while the beings in the old cosmos are longing to be saved. The ones that have taken part in persecuting the Fa-rectification are only that one group, the old forces, and they make up twenty percent of the beings at different levels. All the other, larger numbers of beings aren't taking part, and these ones who aren't taking part are observing and watching all of this. They all know one thing, and even the old forces know it: if this undertaking doesn't succeed, everything will be no more.
Today's scientists, too, have discovered the situation in which great changes are taking place in the cosmos. They've discovered that the scope of the universe they can currently see is expanding faster and faster, and the speed of the expansion keeps accelerating. I didn't want to talk about this before--I only taught principles of the Fa. Let's think about it: what does this expansion mean? Something only expands before it explodes; it expands and expands, and when it reaches a certain point it suddenly bursts. So everything is in its final stage. A lot of beings are watching all this with anxiety. As for the old forces, they, with their requirements in mind, are also anxious. Of course, the beings in the new cosmos are also eagerly longing for the conclusion of all this. The immense force of the whole Fa-rectification is doing its final work at an even more forceful speed, which transcends all times. Now it's only a little bit away from catching up with the speed of the surface's expansion. Of course, the speed of the expansion seems to be slow in terms of human time, but it's in fact very fast. I am doing things very fast, too. I've told you before that however much is done up there, that much can be broken through at lower levels. Although the universe is expanding, I'm doing things at an extremely fast speed, and I can definitely catch up with it. If I don't catch up with it, I can tell you, the final disintegration would make everything in the surface dimension cease to exist. If I do catch up with it, it's resolved. Not only will I catch up with it, but I will also surpass it, and that's when the Fa rectifies the human world. Now I'm only just a little bit away from catching up with the speed of the expansion. Countless sentient beings, countless beings, are all watching. And in fact, there are eyes in every tiny particle of the air. What are the heavens? I've told you that they're different from the heavens imagined by human beings. When you look at Earth from the moon, Saturn, or Venus, isn't it also in the heavens? In the same sense it's in the heavens. The heavens are in the microcosm and in the macrocosm, and the term doesn't refer to the parallel dimensions that are made up of particles of the same level--in the eyes of Gods, that's just the concept of distance. In the macrocosm and in the microcosm, all beings are closely watching all these things on the earth. They know Dafa disciples' every single action and every single thought. Everything that Dafa disciples do is clearly displayed before the eyes of higher beings. So be sure to do well and win their admiration.
This is magnificent--truly magnificent. Without the Fa-rectification, Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples' magnificence wouldn't be shown so prominently. Dafa disciples: the things you are faced with are magnificent, your responsibilities are major, and then there's your origin, of course--it's taking all these things into consideration that I say you're magnificent. You need to be worthy of the title "Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple"! That's something that the cosmos won't have again. This only happens once since the beginning of time--it only happens once since the beginning of time in the cosmos. Everything seems to take place among everyday people and not be much different from everyday-people things. If there were a difference, then people would believe whatever you say, Fa-rectification wouldn't happen, and cultivation wouldn't exist. People commit sins while deluded, so at present they have no other choice but to pay for them while deluded. Although there's still a difficult leg of the journey ahead of us, it won't last long. I hope that everyone will do even better from this point on.
I won't say anything more. You can go on with your conference. Today I'm just here to meet with you, because there are people from Europe, Australia, and Asia, and also, you wanted to see me. If there are things that I have to tell you, I'll definitely meet with you and tell you what to do. Today I mainly wanted to see you. Thank you everyone.
(Clearwisdom.net) Through several periods of group Fa-study and sharing insights, and especially after studying Teacher's latest articles, "The Blessings from Dafa," "Entering the Gate of No-Life," "Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions," and "The Difficult Path to Godhood," Falun Dafa practitioners from the San Francisco bay area deeply felt Teacher's vast compassion. They realized at this final critical moment in the process of Fa rectification, it is the great mission of every Dafa disciple to participate in the group sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors behind the head of the evil in the human world, and thereby further clean out the obstacles to the process of Fa rectification.
On June 3, practitioners from the San Francisco bay area started sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil in front of the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco. Now the activity has entered the 6th day. Although it is already summer, the temperature in San Francisco drops dramatically in the night, and the wind is very cold. The evil forces that are not reconciled to being eliminated have used all means possible in an attempt to interfere with Dafa disciples' righteous thoughts. However, all interference is nothing in front of the determined Dafa disciples. They are not able to shake Dafa practitioners' righteous thoughts; instead, disciples have further consolidated their resolution to eliminate the evil and offer salvation to sentient beings.
(Clearwisdom.net) In the past two days, Sydney practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evils together with practitioners all over the world. During the intervals between sending forth righteous thoughts, practitioners studied the Fa. All practitioners united into one body and sent forth righteous thoughts every half hour.
Now it is winter in Australia. Some practitioners stayed all night long to send forth righteous thoughts. The long weekend will start tomorrow, and practitioners from Sydney, Australia will continue sending forth righteous thoughts as a group to create the peaceful opportunity for sentient beings to learn the truth and to learn Falun Dafa before the Fa rectifies the human world.
(Clearwisdom.net) Los Angeles Dafa practitioners decided to continuously send forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese Consulate, every hour from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, to eliminate the evil factors behind the head of the evil, and the wicked "610 Office," [The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] and to clear away all of the evil in the cosmos that damages Dafa. During the interludes, the practitioners held group Fa study. They also sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the elements in other dimensions controlling the head of the evil at other times.
The head of the evil has committed enormous crimes in the past three years. Sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate it is to safeguard the heavenly principles and show mercy to sentient beings. Los Angeles Dafa practitioners will send forth the purest and strongest righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil and create opportunities for the sentient beings to learn the truth of Dafa.
(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners from the Seattle area studied the Fa and exchanged their experiences and understandings together. They understood that every Falun Dafa practitioner is responsible to eliminate the evil controlling the head of the evil and this is based on a cultivator's compassion. Simultaneously sending forth righteous together with practitioners all over the world, practitioners from Seattle area also increased the frequency and duration of sending forth righteous thoughts. They gathered in Qingxi park in Chinatown to hold a 48-hour sending forth righteous thoughts activity to eliminate the evils starting at 8 P.M. Friday night.
It was cold overnight, but practitioners' determination was not shaken by the chilly wind. They quietly sat on the cement with peace and enormous compassion.
A TV station covered the activity. Practitioners used this chance to explain the significance of sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evils. A practitioner said that some people didn't understand the meaning of sending forth righteous thoughts. They thought that the practitioners hated the people who were controlled by the evil and thus wanted to do something to them in this human world. They are wrong. Falun Dafa teaches us to be good persons according to "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance," which is the righteous, universal principle. But Jiang's regime has rampantly persecuted the practitioners and has tortured hundreds of innocent people to death and jailed thousands of practitioners. On the other hand, to cover their crimes, they fabricated lies and so-called evidence to stir up hatred among the common people against practitioners. Even in such a harsh situation, Falun Dafa practitioners take risks to clarify the truth to people. They endured the beatings and persecutions with great compassion and tolerance. The cultivators only act out of compassion and will not do anything irrationally or violently in the human world.
The practitioners also said, "We are cultivators, and we understand that these evil people who acted brutally are controlled by evil beings in other dimensions. Our practitioners want to use our righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil beings that control them in other dimensions in order to save them. The universe has a principle that good deeds will be rewarded with good while bad deeds will meet retribution at a certain time. Anyone who does bad things will have to suffer retribution. The Buddha's Law is compassionate and sacred. Practitioners all over the world send forth righteous thoughts together to eliminate the evils and wake up the deceived beings, while at the same time, letting the people who are lost in this material world see the greatness and sacredness of Buddha's capabilities."
Late at night when most people were asleep, the practitioners still continued the activitiy with rock-solid determination. This is the first night of a 48-hour sending forth righteous thoughts activity.
(Clearwisdom.net) After beating to death or burning alive four Dafa practitioners last year, the authorities in Macheng City, Hubei Province have now beaten to death 37-year-old female Dafa practitioner from Xifan Village, Macheng City, Li Jiju.

At noon on May 15, the Macheng City police broke into Li Jiju's home by climbing over a wall, then proceeded to illegally rummage through the house. This was triggered by another Dafa practitioner's returning from out of town and going straight to Li's home with his baggage. The police, who had been staked out around her home thought there were lots of Dafa materials in that bag. When Li Jiju protested the police's unlawful break in, over 10 policemen promptly gave her a brutal beating, and broke one of her ribs. The police then dragged Li to Macheng City Detention Center, beating her as they went.
At the #2 detention center, not having committed any crime, Li Jiju asked to be released and went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. On May 20, Macheng City Disciplinary Committee Secretary Li Shengguo, Macheng Police Department Section I Chief Yang Gandun and Yan Wenshan secretly took Li Jiju to Longchi Police Station to interrogate her. During the interrogation, the police beat her without restraint, which caused her death. Li's eyes were wide open when she expired. There were bruises all over her body, many of her bones were fractured, and signs of strangulation were visible on her neck.
When news of Li Jiju's death got out, the Macheng City authorities concocted the rumor that Li had committed suicide by jumping off a building. Moreover, they sent police to intimidate Li's relatives and friends, threatening them with arrest if they asked questions or spoke out. At the same time, many Dafa practitioners' homes in Macheng City were watched and they were warned not to get in touch with each other. The first day when Li Jiju's body was placed in the crematory, the police department drove out all the crematory staff members. Dozens of policemen were stationed there to guard Li's body, and they would not allow Li's family members or friends to get near. Someone took pictures of the body and was viciously beaten, with the film being destroyed. On the second day, the police department dispatched more police. There were several hundred policemen in the crematory. From Li's home to the crematory, over two hundred policemen, including plain-clothes officers were positioned along the way. Li's family members and relatives were put under house arrest. They were not allowed to talk to anyone, or to examine Li's body. The police said they would appoint a medical examiner to investigate the cause of Li's death. However, none of the medical examiners from Macheng City or Li's residential area wrote any report about Li's death after they examined the body. In the end, the police department still went ahead and cremated Li's body. They gave Li's family members 32,000 Yuan, with the intent to prevent them from appealing.
The police department has hidden Yin XX and another policeman, the people directly involved in the murder. They claimed that they would punish these two policemen, when in reality they are just hiding them.
This is another crime that the evil thugs have committed under the direction of Jiang's criminal gang. Kindhearted people of the world must not forget these wicked people. History will bring them to justice sooner or later.

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Jiangan District Court Plans to Put Practitioners on Trial
It is believed that persecutors in Jiangan District Court of Wuhan City will put some practitioners on trial within the next 3 or 4 days.
2. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Daqing City Detention Center Brutally Force-Feeds Practitioners on Hunger Strike
I was arrested by the police after someone reported me. The police guards used leather belts to torture me, slapped me in the face, and beat me up. Then they sent me to Daqing City Detention Center.
On the night of my arrival, I heard the persecutors brutally force-feeding the practitioners in the neighboring cell. When the practitioners refused to cooperate, the guards beat them up. The inmates in the cell sympathized with the practitioners. In the following days, I could hear the sounds of practitioners being beaten when the guards were force-feeding them. In my cell, several Dafa practitioners had been detained for over a month past their term. They told the director of the detention center that they would protest with a hunger strike if not released immediately. After hearing the practitioners' words, directors Zhang and Bai Yunshan said furiously: "You can go on hunger strike, but we have means to deal with you. Several of you have died because of force-feeding, and we won't be held responsible. We will lose nothing, so you can't threaten us. You will suffer from the force-feeding. We will start off by force-feeding you water for 10 days."
The next morning, we stopped eating. The guards then force-fed us with salt water. The practitioners refused to cooperate, then female guard Han Yanfang pulled on our clothes and kicked us. After the force-feeding, we threw up and had loose bowels. We don't know what they had put in the salt water. They also force-fed us milk mixed with some medicine (cardiotonic). Later on, I walked out of the detention center under Teacher's protection.
3. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] Persecution of Dafa Practitioners in Shenze County
A. He Qing is a 21-year-old female practitioner who lives in Xiaozhiyao Village. In March of 2002, she went to Beijing to validate Dafa. The persecutors sentenced her to 2 years and sent her to Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp.
B. Xu Rongen is a 45-year-old female practitioner who lives in Xidachen Village. While promoting Dafa on the night of May 12, 2002, Xu was discovered by the police. The next day, the police went to her home to arrest her. Xu was forced to become homeless to avoid being arrested. When one of her neighbors argued with the police for their illegal actions, the police arrested the neighbor as a hostage and demanded Xu in exchange for the neighbor. Xu went to the police department and took the neighbor's place, and now she is being held at the county detention center.
C. Li Rongjian is a female practitioner who lives in Tianjiazhuang Village. In 2000, Li was sent to a forced labor camp for validating Dafa in Beijing. She was subsequently released for medical treatment. In 2002, someone reported her to the police, and she was sent again to Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp. Because of her poor health, the labor camp refused to take Li. After Li returned from the labor camp, the county police department extorted 1,000 Yuan from her family members before releasing her. [Yuan, Chinese dollar. The average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is about 500 Yuan, but only 200 Yuan for a rural worker.]

On May 20, 2002, the police abducted practitioner Feng Manqin, who works at Anning Railroad Institute, from home. Feng's whereabouts are unknown. Another practitioner named Wu Yuying from Lanzhou City was abducted and sent to a brainwashing class.
5. [Shayang, Hubei Province] Police Guards in Shayang Forced Labor Camp Shock Practitioners with Electric Batons Continuously for 4 Hours
The guards in Shayang Forced Labor Camp handcuffed practitioner Li Siwen from Xianning just because Li said, "I am a Dafa practitioner." They handcuffed Li using the "Carrying a Sword on the Back" method. [Illustrations of torture methods:

Practitioner Lan Jisheng from Huangmei scolded a collaborator [a former Dafa practitioners who due to intense brainwashing, pressure and torture was forced to renounce their belief and used to persecute other practitioners] in the bedroom, and the issue was reported to the guards by the monitoring people. The guards falsely accused Lan of "attacking" and shocked Lan for nearly 4 hours.
The guards shocked practitioner Liu Qianghua from Jingshan for hours. Upon returning, Liu was limping.
Li Zhichang is a practitioner from Shishou. For going on a hunger strike to protest, Li was force-fed and shocked.
These are only a few cases of persecution. Many practitioners detained in Shayang Forced Labor Camp have been shocked by electric batons. Currently, the persecution is still going on.
6. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] 67-Year-Old Practitioner Illegally Sentenced to 3 Years in a Forced Labor Camp
Shi Yongcheng is a 67-year-old male practitioner who lives in Wumahe District, Yichun City. For promoting Dafa and clarifying the truth to people, Shi was illegally sentenced to 3 years in a forced labor camp.
7. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Man Hongyu and Piao Lianying Abducted
On April 27, 2002, Yichun City Police Department and Luyuan Police Sub-department forcefully arrested practitioners Man Hongyu and Piao Lianying from Man's home. They are now being detained at the No. 3 Detention Center of Shuangyang City. It is believed that their arrest was a result of Piao being followed by some persecutors.
8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Police Plan to Illegally Hunt for Practitioners
Recently, police in Shenyang City started a thorough investigation of people who rent apartments in the city. In some residence areas, a notice of address-registration check has been posted. We hope that all practitioners send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the persecution.
9. [Liaoyuan City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Abducted
Recently, the police arrested practitioners Zheng Gang, Jiang Gang, and Ding Xiaoxia (female) from Liaoyuan City. The three practitioners' communication equipment was also confiscated.

During the time that I was held captive at a police station, I treated the policemen with compassion no matter how badly they treated me. I clarified the truth of the persecution to them again and again, validating Dafa with my righteous thoughts. I exposed the lies from the Chinese Central TV Station. I told them about the physical and spiritual benefits I had obtained since I started cultivation. I could see that some of the policemen were touched by my words and showed their kindness. Finally, I stepped out of the police station with my dignity intact.
Since we have continued to clarify the truth to ordinary people, more and more people are awakening to the truth and beginning cultivation in Dafa. Then I thought: where could I find the book Zhuan Falun for them?
I went to the police station and asked a policeman for the books, and within two days, some shining, golden Zhuan Falun books were sent back to us.

Falun Dafa Has Taken Root in People's Hearts

Recently, the Danish Embassy and Consulate refused to issue visas to at least 10 people who were holding Chinese or Taiwanese passports. Sources said the reason was that Iceland, following the Chinese government's demands, decided that during Jiang's visit from June 12-18, people who had Chinese or Taiwanese passports would not be allowed to enter. One official from the Legal Department of Iceland said this action was to prevent protest activities. Although he knows that Falun Gong is peaceful, no Falun Gong practitioner will be allowed to enter. Not long ago, when Jiang visited Germany, German police forbade people who wore yellow or blue colored clothing from coming near the Chinese procession at Jiang's request.
Freedom of beliefs and freedom of speech are human rights that form the essence of Western democracies. However, if democracies lose their essence, which is freedom, they will turn into totalitarian states from within.
Iceland is a democratic island nation. Its population is less than 300,000, and there are only 610 policemen in the whole country. There is no army in Iceland. These statistics prove that they are confident that their democratic system will enable the majority of the population to resolve their conflicts rationally with broadmindedness and tolerance. If they violate the fundamental principles of freedom to satisfy Jiang's irrational requests, they are damaging their own democracy.
Jiang is facing discontent from the people in China, and he has no way to back down gracefully because he insisted on persecuting Falun Gong. He will be condemned by history's judgment because of his vicious suppression of Falun Gong. No Western democratic country should cooperate with or encourage this evil regime's persecution of innocent people, and they definitely should not kowtow to a villainous dictator.
As cultivators, Falun Dafa disciples should look inward when encountering conflicts, as our Master has taught us again and again. We should see if anything we did was not right and correct ourselves promptly. If in our hearts we think of others first and want to benevolently save sentient beings, we should be able to resolve all conflicts by compassionately clarifying the truth. The world's people are watching our conduct and state of mind, and they will take these as representing Falun Dafa and Dafa disciples. If our conduct is righteous, they will be saved because of this. If we do not behave well enough, they will be deluded by the evil's deceptions. So we must strictly discipline ourselves, strictly control our xinxing (moral character, heart-nature), and watch our every word and deed. This is not only for our own cultivation; it is for the Fa-rectification and saving sentient beings.

LONDON, June 10, 2002 (European Falun Dafa Information Centre) - Three days ago, The Associated Press reported that Iceland's Ministry of Justice - in anticipation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin's arrival on June 12 - has barred all Falun Gong practitioners from entering Iceland. While we deplore this decision by the Ministry, we find the illicit pressure and bully tactics used by the Chinese Communist dictator to influence the nations he visits truly reprehensible.
Over the past three years, Falun Gong practitioners around the world have exemplified the spirit of compassion and nonviolence, always making their appeals in a completely peaceful manner - even in China where tens of thousands of innocent citizens face imprisonment, torture and death for exercising their Constitutional right to freedom of conscience.
In February of this year, Falun Gong practitioners held peaceful demonstrations outside the World Economic Forum in New York City. At the conclusion of the 3-day demonstration, a senior police officer told the Falun Gong organizers that he admired their discipline, courtesy, good behavior, and peaceful nature. Earlier in the week when he was asked about Falun Gong during a high-level security briefing for the Economic Forum, he stated, "You will have no trouble from them at all. They are a real pleasure to work with."
Icelandic officials have also confirmed that reports from officials throughout the world show that Falun Gong activities have been consistently peaceful.
Why Bar Peaceful People?
While we deplore the decision by the Ministry of Justice, the greater shame lies in the fact that the Chinese leader would so blatantly strong-arm a Western nation to compromise its democratic principles by threatening to cancel his trip.
Yesterday The Morgunblad in Iceland reported, "The Morgunblad has reliable sources that Chinese authorities have demanded from the Icelanders that Falun Gong members not be allowed in the country during the visit. They have even demanded that no protesters be seen from the Saga Hotel where Jiang Zemin will stay." The day before, Iceland's The Visir reported, "The Ministry of Justice got lists from the Chinese Embassy on individuals who are possibly linked to the Falun Gong."
It is clearly a sign of Jiang Zemin's paranoia that he would sacrifice the diplomatic dignity of his country just to spare himself the sight of a group of people peacefully demonstrating. Last month in Germany, Jiang even went so far as to demand the German Government ban everyone from wearing yellow wherever he visited - a color often used by Falun Gong practitioners during their public appeals. Perhaps, this color reminds Jiang of the tens of thousands of innocent men, women, and children that have been imprisoned, tortured or killed in China as well as the millions of grieving families that have been torn apart by his persecution campaign.
Voices of Support from Iceland
The people of Iceland live in a democracy that values freedom. This past week, Falun Gong websites have received numerous e-mails from individuals and organizations in Iceland, denouncing this decision. "This mass murderer's [Jiang Zemin] visit will not go un-protested...there will be peaceful protests," writes one resident of Reykjavik, Iceland. "The ban of all Falun Gong members in Iceland during this visit is a terrible crime to free speech, and endangers our freedom of choice."
Reports and editorials in the media have also given voice to the Icelandic people's desire to see a different course of action taken by their Ministry.
We are inspired by these voices of support and hope that no other nation will have to bear such absurd pressure from Jiang Zemin.
We trust that the Ministry of Justice will reconsider its decision. We feel this is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate to the world that the principles of freedom held dear by Western democracies cannot be bent, twisted or compromised by the Chinese Communist dictator.
Background
Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a practice of meditation and exercises with teachings based on the universal principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." It is a practice that was taught in private for thousands of years before being made public in 1992 by Mr. Li Hongzhi. Falun Gong has roots in traditional Chinese culture, but it is distinct and separate from other practices such as the religions of Buddhism and Taoism. Since its introduction in 1992, it quickly spread by word of mouth throughout China, and is now practiced in over 50 countries.
With government estimates of as many as 100 million practicing Falun Gong, China's President Jiang Zemin outlawed the peaceful practice in July 1999, fearful of anything touching the hearts and minds of more citizens than the Communist Party. Unable to crush the spirit of millions who had experienced improved health and positive life changes from Falun Gong, Jiang's regime has intensified its propaganda campaign to turn public opinion against the practice while quietly imprisoning, torturing and even murdering those who practice it.
The Falun Dafa Information Centre has verified details of over 422 deaths since the persecution of Falun Gong in China began in 1999. Government officials inside China, however, report that the actual death toll is well over 1,600. Over 100,000 have been detained, with more than 20,000 being sentenced to forced labor camps without trial.
(Clearwisdom.net) Today I suddenly realized: this surface dimension where Fa-rectification has not yet arrived is also restricted by the principles of the cosmos, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Our sending forth righteous thoughts is actually helping Master to turn the Great Falun during Fa-rectification. The Great Law Wheel "has the Fa's power to repress evil, eliminate disorder, harmonize everything, and remain invincible." ("Definitive Conclusion," Essentials for Further Advancement) Previously, every time before I sent forth righteous thoughts I always thought about how to use my supernormal capabilities, how to eliminate evil face-to-face, and I used a great deal of my own energy in this way. After I understood this principle of Zhuan Falun [spinning the Law Wheel], when I again sent forth righteous thoughts, I saw the whole cosmos had changed into a spinning Law Wheel, and it automatically destroyed countless evil beings within the cosmos. The evil beings looked like ants falling into a furnace. I was in a state of relaxation, using my power at will, and keeping my thoughts pure and my mind concentrated, unlike previously when I was nervous, excited, and in a hurry.
This time, when it was close to the time for sending forth righteous thoughts at 8:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. Beijing time), I sat down in the lotus position and cleared my mind at 7:30 p.m. After I entered into a tranquil state, I saw a Great Law Wheel spinning slowly. Suddenly, many rapidly-spinning, small Law Wheels appeared in the cosmos. They were countless in number, of many different colors, and covering this dimension like snowflakes. In another dimension, layers upon layers of eyes were nervously looking at us. Master was very close to us and smiling. I looked at my watch -- it was 7:59 p.m. Every small Law Wheel represented a Dafa practitioner who was sending forth righteous thoughts. The Law Wheels that covered the whole cosmos shined brilliantly, densely covering the whole cosmos. They moved and spun at will and eliminated evil at various levels. It was extremely magnificent and beautiful. Countless layers of Law Wheels covered the head of the evil, and it was not able to be replenished with even one breath of energy. Seeing all this, it was obvious that if we persisted, we would succeed. Not long after, the number of Law Wheels appreciably decreased. I looked at my watch. It was 8:03 p.m. Maybe many practitioners' minds went wandering and therefore couldn't focus. After a while, more Law Wheels appeared and the righteous thoughts had returned. The magnificent scene reappeared, and the cosmos was clear and colorful due to the brilliance of hundreds and thousands of millions of Law Wheels. I recalled what Master said, "so each student has to truly, clearly realize what his responsibility is, and when he sends forth righteous thoughts he has to be able to truly calm his mind and truly produce the effect of righteous thoughts. So this is something extremely critical, extremely important. Then if every student is able to do that, I can tell you, with five minutes of sending forth righteous thoughts together, the evil in the Three Realms will never exist again." ("Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.")
Time passed quickly, and many Law Wheels disappeared. Sometime later, only a few Law Wheels were left that were still spinning and eliminating the evil. Again I looked at the cosmos. It felt clean, but was the evil completely eliminated? It seemed like the evil with a breath left had escaped. In fact, if we could last a little longer as a whole and send forth righteous thoughts for 15 or 20 minutes, we should be able to completely eliminate them at one time and not leave any to trouble us in the future.
Above is my personal understanding; please kindly point out anything inappropriate.
(Clearwisdom.net) I would like to share with fellow practitioners my experiences and understandings in cultivation practice over the past half year. Please correct me if there is anything inappropriate.
I. Solidly complete the last part of cultivation practice
Currently the process of Fa-rectification has reached a new stage. The evil forces have reached the extremes of insanity, but are also at the end of their rope. They manipulate ordinary people to spread deceiving rumors, and arbitrarily arrest, beat up and ruthlessly kill Falun Dafa practitioners. They have become totally unpardonable. Recently, a few practitioners from our county were illegally arrested by the police. The wicked thugs from the terrorist "610 Office" use media to defame Falun Dafa, force innocent middle school and elementary school students to make critical remarks about Dafa, and routinely mislead the sentient beings to commit mammoth sins that will take them towards the bottomless abyss. I realized that all that has happened is related to the fact that practitioners in our town as a whole have not reached the state of non-omission with diamond solidity. Now we are no long in the stage of personal cultivation; therefore, it becomes critically important for us as one body made up of all Dafa particles, to holistically make an all out effort. We are disciples of the Lord of Buddha. The evil is not worthy of testing us. We cannot allow any loss to occur to Dafa because of our omissions. Therefore at present we must do well the three things that Teacher has taught us:
1. Study the Fa with a calm mind and take the Fa as the Teacher.
This is also the requirement that will ensure powerful righteous thoughts. We should frequently study Teacher's new articles, try to fully understand the meaning of Fa-rectification cultivation, and truly merge ourselves into the process of Fa-rectification rather than simply doing some Fa-rectification work as a formality.
2. Clarify the truth comprehensively.
We should clarify the truth with wisdom according to our own situation. We may utilize various forms and aim at the everyday people's attachments in order to clarify the truth. However, for those who already know the truth of Dafa but still persist in persecuting Dafa and Dafa practitioners blindly, it is not necessary to clarify the truth face to face with them. Rather, we can send forth righteous thoughts for them to receive immediate retribution. I realize that there will be a large number of evils to be eliminated at the end of Fa-rectification, so we shall send forth righteous thoughts to those completely unpardonable wicked thugs to eliminate the evils that control them and let them immediately receive retribution. Our kindness can no longer be used by the old forces to let us become the so-called "benign and uncontentious people," and allow Dafa to sustain losses!
3. It is the sacred mission of every Dafa practitioner to send forth righteous thoughts every day at set times.
We should be strict with ourselves. In all other dimensions, the battle to eliminate the evils is presently taking place. Whether our principal beings in the human world do well or not directly affects the process and quality of Fa-rectification in each of the other dimensions. In order to create a peaceful and just environment to spread Dafa to more people with predestined relationships, we should make our best efforts to eliminate the evil factors behind the head of the evil as soon as possible and break the deviated arrangement of the old forces to keep it until the end.
II. Keep righteousness in every thought, every word, every move and every action in every single moment.
Going through painful tribulations time after time, I clearly realized my omissions, such as not paying attention to cultivating my speech, being careless in doing small things, handling things emotionally, and so on. If I could not do small things well, how would I be able to cultivate the divine body that is unshakable and solid like diamond?
The head of the evil will again go abroad from June 4 to 16. We practitioners from China should fully use this opportunity to prepare truth-clarifying materials, and at the same time study the Fa well and actively send forth righteous thoughts together with overseas practitioners. This way, we will unite into one body globally to cooperatively wage the battle and let this become the opportunity for Dafa practitioners as a whole to completely deny the evil's arrangements.

was the first time I had ever so intensively sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil. I
rested for only three hours, but I continued even in my dream to constantly send righteous thoughts,
clarify the truth and eradicate the evil.
In my dream, I saw over twenty police thugs searching Zhizhi's home and confiscating her family's property. They pointed a gun at me and asked, "Are you really not afraid of death?" My heart was very peaceful and I calmly faced them. I felt like a divine being as tall as the heavens. I knew that I was a divine being guarding the Fa of the cosmos and that I was responsible for all the righteous elements. We were arrested and thrown into a police car. Hundreds of ordinary people stood around the car. I thought, "Isn't this a very good opportunity to validate the Fa?" So I used all my strength and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is righteous! The world needs Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance!"
Zhizhi also tearfully called out, "People, wake up! It's such a precious chance to have the opportunity to learn Falun Dafa!" Finally, the evil policemen abandoned the police car and ran away. They were destroyed into nothingness.
Zhizhi and I got out of the police car, hand in hand. I heard the kind-hearted people standing around us give warm applause. Suddenly, I came to realize how lucky we are to have become the disciples of the Lord of Buddhas, to rectify the Fa and, together with Teacher, to save the sentient beings in the human world. I can't find the words to express my happiness.
After the dream, I more deeply understood the need for us to send righteous thoughts. Upon waking, I came to know that it was not actually a "dream," but a fight between righteous and evil beings that took place in another dimension. The righteous can always resolve and harmonize all the unrighteous elements, and thus completely win the battle.

I stayed overnight at Zhizhi's house, then went back to my home the next day. My mom had been waiting for me for quite a while. That night, my mom and I again sent forth righteous thoughts. It was said that the malicious police were planning to go out and try to capture Falun Dafa practitioners for the next two nights. They didn't dare to do so during the daytime because they were afraid of creating a negative public image of themselves. I thought of Zhizhi, so I mentally asked, "Teacher, please protect Zhizhi and don't let the evil take advantage of her." The second that I entered tranquility, I saw layers upon layers of gods. Then, however, countless evil beings jumped out of their hands and captured Zhizhi, locking her in an iron cage. So I immediately began sending forth righteous thoughts and, "Completely deny all the arrangements by the old evil forces. Teacher, please strengthen me so that I can help to free my fellow practitioner." I then experienced a battle of wills against the old forces. The following is the dialogue between the old forces and me.
Old forces (pointing at me): "You didn't diligently cultivate yourself at all. You are no longer good enough to be your Teacher's disciple."
Huihui: "It is just because I didn't diligently cultivate myself before, that I need to do well with everything that a Falun Dafa disciple needs to do during the final, critical times. I will cultivate myself diligently and with vigor. Actually, all of you have deviated from the Fa. It's impossible for you to see the principles of the new cosmos. The only solution for you now is to follow my Teacher to rectify the Fa. Otherwise, when the time comes for the Fa to rectify the human world, you will be destroyed along with all of your sentient beings.
Old forces: "Why are you here? Leave here right away!"
Huihui: "I'm here to rescue my fellow practitioner. I will leave, but not without her."
Old forces (pointing at Zhizhi): "She was your best friend when you were a child. You are here out of your 'human sentimentality.' You still haven't gotten rid of your human attachments. There is no use in even trying to cultivate yourself."
Huihui: "It is just because I still have human attachments, that I need to cultivate myself. I'm here not out of human sentimentality, but out of compassion. Falun Dafa practitioners are still trying to save ordinary people, even under such serious circumstances. All the Falun Dafa practitioners around the world are one body. You are persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners because you want to stick to your old notions. You lost your compassion a long time ago, and your heart is now full of selfishness. My teacher told us to attain the righteous enlightenment of selflessness. We are much better and much nobler than you are."
Old forces: "Who said that? We have compassion! With just a wave of our hand, the Earth would cease to exist, but none of us have done that. Aren't we compassionate? Would you still be alive, otherwise? We didn't do that because you human beings are so pitiful!"
Huihui: But do you realize that with a wave of my Teacher's hand, the entire cosmos would no longer exist, no matter how high your levels are, or how many sentient beings you have? If my teacher had done that, the whole cosmos would have been destroyed. If he had done so, would you still be alive? Don't you think you are also pitiful? You have your own sentient beings, and yet you treat my Teacher's disciples like that. My Teacher is disappointed in you, but he didn't destroy you. Instead, he gave you one chance after another. Aren't you ashamed? In fact, you are under my Teacher's control, yet you still continue to interfere with my Teacher's Fa-rectification. You remain trapped by your own selfishness and by your old notions. Wake up, and don't persecute the Fa any more! Otherwise, when the Fa rectifies the human world, everything will already be set, and you won't even have a chance to regret your past misdeeds.
Old forces: All right, then. You can leave with Zhizhi.
I pulled Zhizhi out of the iron cage, and Teacher's words came to my mind, "For example, after some Dafa disciples are arrested, they are able to maintain an unshakable calm, and they have no fear. You'll see that the old forces don't dare to persecute them. It's because they know that unless they beat them to death, any persecution of them won't do a thing, so they don't touch them." I know that I have improved a lot during the past two days. The improvements came from the Fa and from my striving forward together with fellow practitioners. Here, I would like to send my highest regard to our benevolent and great Teacher! I hope all fellow practitioners truly realize the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts. (Clearwisdom.net) Since August 1999, I have been working as a truck driver for a family owned business. Working with me are two loaders who contribute to the duties of transporting goods.
When the boss learned that I was a Dafa practitioner, he threatened me, saying, "If you keep practicing, I'll fire you!" In reply, I smiled at him. Since the business wasn't doing well, the two loaders who were working with me were laid off. I said to my boss, "Let me take on the loaders' work!" Uncertain at first, the boss then allowed me to do the loading duties. I was now taking the responsibilities of three people. The boss was happy to see that I was an honest and hard worker. Later, he laid off the car driver also, and asked me to do it, so then I took on the workload of four people. Throughout my one-year contact with him, he witnessed my sincere efforts and changed his hostile attitude towards Dafa.
In September 2001, the company discontinued its operations, and I was unemployed; however, in March 2002, my former boss introduced me to his relative's family business and recommended me for the truck driver position. With his recommendation, I was hired. As I worked for this new company, I continued clarifying the truth of Dafa to everyone I met.
The office where I now work is about 50 kilometers away from a construction site. The location is pretty remote, so I often pick up some passengers for free and tell them the truth of Dafa. I sometimes tell the passengers, "I am a Dafa practitioner. If you want to show your gratitude, you owe your thanks to Mr. Li Hongzhi. He taught us to be kind and generous. Actually there are many other Dafa practitioners who have cultivated better than me."
The work on the construction site is very hard. When I have no driving tasks, I help them with tasks such as pulling a concrete cart, or loading concrete mixtures, without asking for payment. Moved by my actions, they wondered why I helped them do such difficult work while asking for nothing in return. I would then say to them, "It's our teacher, Li Hongzhi, who tells us to do so..." I told them the truth of Falun Dafa at the same time. The workers smiled at me and replied, "Nowadays you can only find such kind people among Dafa practitioners..."
I seized every opportunity that I saw to help others. There are a variety of ways to tell the truth of Dafa to people. We should find the method that best suits ourselves in order to achieve the best effect for saving people.

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 26, 1999, I set out on a journey of over 300 kilometers on a bicycle to appeal for Falun Gong in Beijing. I was arrested soon after arrival, but I refused to tell the police my name. Two police officers handcuffed my arms tightly behind my back and interrogated me, but I still refused to divulge my identity, in spite of the severe pain the handcuffs caused. Failing to obtain my identity, they tightened the handcuffs and pressed them against the wall. Thirty minutes later one of them said, "You'll win the victory by perseverance." Then they opened the handcuffs and asked my name again, but I refused all the same. They wanted to handcuff me once more, but I suddenly shut my eyes and fell to the ground. Although I appeared to have passed out, I was in fact still conscious. They dragged me into a small basement where a lot of practitioners were also detained. There was a desk on the north side of the room and they put me on it. At that moment, I was clear in my mind that I must tell the truth of Dafa to the State and the people even if I would die for it.
A police officer came up to the desk and I got down to face him. He asked my name. I peacefully said to him, "I have told you already that my name is not important in this matter. I came here to appeal. If you let me read my appeal material one time, I'll tell you everything." Then the policeman agreed.
I took out the material and read, "I have a great mother. She is my country China. I have countless brothers and sisters who are good people. They are Falun Dafa practitioners. I have a good teacher. He is Master Li, who teaches us to be good people and to become even better by elevating our moral values. It is beneficial to the state and all the people of the country..."
After I finished reading, the policeman sitting at the door said, "I'll give you two more minutes to speak." It was a precious two minutes. I said, "After I practiced Falun Gong, I once found that my daughters had been paid more than 50 Yuan for selling pears. I found out about it 5-6 months after it had happened. Although I didn't do it, I am the master of the family and I could not accept the money. So I returned the money to the buyer. Another incident occurred over some electrical wire passing through my yard. Before I practiced Dafa, I made two cuts on the wire and installed another circuit in my house. Every night, we stole electricity from the public utility line. After I became a Dafa practitioner, I dismantled the circuit because I realized that I shouldn't harm the interests of the public."
The police registered my name after I finished. They let me sit with the practitioners in the room. Through talking I knew that all of them were from various locations around the country. A female practitioner from Henan Province had come to Beijing with a baby that was still nursing. She was so great. When we stopped talking, the policeman at the door said, "You can talk about your practice." Less than 20 minutes later, the people from the liaison office of Shijiazhuang City in Beijing came to pick me up. After that, I was held in a detention center for 30 days before being released.

The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Chairman Li Ruihuan and his retinue visited Scotland's capital, Edinburgh, on May 30th. Falun Gong practitioners learned that he would go to the Palace of Holyrood House at 3 p.m; therefore they went to the group practice site which was assigned to them earlier by the police in order to welcome him. Besides Falun Gong practitioners, some Chinese student groups who were invited by the Chinese embassy were also standing outside the palace. The interesting thing is that when Falun Gong practitioners arrived, the Chinese students said, "Look, Falun Gong." It seems that they were very familiar with the special yellow clothing worn by Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners also greeted them in a friendly manner, and gave each of them a brochure clarifying the truth about Falun Gong.
In the past, when Falun Gong practitioners practiced exercises or held parade activities, people could see many colorful banners, as well as balloons. However, this time the practitioners did not display any banners at their practice site. They just followed the exercise music and repeatedly practiced the 5 exercises, transmitting a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Even the Chinese students were engrossed in watching.
With the police cars slowly approaching, Chinese students groups had started to beat drums and strike gongs and were ready to welcome Li Ruihuan. However, the Chinese students, who had been organized by the embassy seemed as though they hadn't seen enough of Falun Gong. They even forgot to yell slogans. On the other hand, Falun Gong practitioners were still peacefully practicing the exercises.
Next, Falun Gong practitioners quickly went to the Palace Garden because the representatives were
due to visit there soon. When these practitioners arrived at the main entrance of the Palace Garden,
the Chinese students groups were already there. In the crowd many people greeted our Falun Gong
practitioners. Some Chinese students also took photos of Falun Gong practitioners who were
practicing exercises. It was the same as in front of the Palace of Holyrood House--Falun Gong still
had no banners; they just quietly practiced the exercises. Then it began to rain heavily, but the
Falun Gong practitioners weren't influenced at all and continued to practice the exercises quietly.
Avoiding the rain, the Chinese students all quietly watched the practitioners' backs as they
practiced in the rain.
One Falun Gong practitioner's words answered people's questions about why Falun Gong is practiced
peacefully here: "We are here not to resist or to be against the government. We just want the
Chinese central leaders to see how peaceful and harmonious Falun Gong is and to let them know that
many people overseas also like this exercise practice. Falun Gong has never set itself against the
government, nor does it have any political agenda. We just clarify the truth and appeal to stop the
persecution. We have no demands or requirements on any governments or individuals. We just want
everyone to know the truth about Falun Gong."

News and Activities Around the World
Many practitioners from Sydney, Australia participated in sending forth righteous thoughts in close proximity to the evil. They also used a three-day weekend for group studies and sent forth righteous thoughts every hour on the dot.
The Chinese Consulate in Chicago rejected my application for the extension of my passport. Consul Ye told me that we had committed crimes against China's national security, interest, and reputation. When I asked for evidence of such crimes, he said that he was just following orders from higher authorities. He said, "You are responsible for finding it out for yourself," which was absurd. I would like to remind the Consulate that the Nazi doctors and military officers who killed people during WWII claimed that they were just following orders from the higher authorities; but they still couldn't escape judgment.
News from China
Luo Gan recently went to Shenyang City, Liaoning Province and sent out a secret order. There would be citywide mass arrests of Falun Gong practitioner at midnight on June 5 and June 6. All those who were on their list, including those who had been previously released, would be recaptured. Brainwashing classes have been set up for them. In the month of June, Liaoning province will become the target of persecution following Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces in March and April.
In the past three years, local police have subjected Falun Dafa practitioners from Yunnan province to many brutalities, but practitioners have been safeguarding the Fa steadfastly. Lately, there have been uncommon astronomical phenomena, frequent natural disasters, and accidents locally. These are signals to the people that if they cherish Falun Dafa, they would actually be cherishing their own lives.
