Experiences of Clarifying the Truth while Traveling to a Conference

(Clearwisdom.net) Not long ago a fellow practitioner and I went to a U.S. consulate to apply for a visa. While waiting inside the consulate we read the Fa. A New Zealander accompanying a Chinese merchant also came to apply for a visa. From the conversation with them we learned that the New Zealander frequently traveled to China on business. When we talked about Falun Gong he mentioned that the situation in China is very tense. We told him the true facts and he completely understood. When we talked about the event of the cable TV truth-clarifying broadcast of the persecution by practitioners in Changchun City, he explained how he had already heard about it. He excitedly told us that, at the time of the broadcast, his Chinese friends in Changchun called him right away and told him of this event; it was amazing! At the same time, another practitioner also talked to the Chinese businessman, relating his own experiences of the persecution in China. Both the New Zealander and the Chinese businessman accepted the VCD and truth-clarifying materials. Before we left, the New Zealander told us that he would suggest that his friends who work in the media contact us for an interview.

Standing there reading the Fa, I suddenly enlightened to the fact that our Master creates our surroundings, for us to cultivate and to elevate. Isn't it our mind that our Master looks at? The environment changes immediately, as soon as our mindset is correct. I was deeply moved by the mighty benevolence of our Master. When I observed the surrounding with a benevolent mind I found that everything had changed because my mind nature had been elevated. The following facts attest to this:

I handed a flyer to a lady. She politely accepted it and started to read. When another practitioner told her that his relative in China was persecuted because of practicing Falun Gong, she began to cry and asked, "How can I help you?" At the end she wished us good luck and hoped the persecution would soon end and, she said that she would read the flyer carefully when she got home. A young man with a strange hairstyle was standing near her. With a compassionate mind, I handed him a flyer in English. As soon as he started to read the flyer he moved his hands, imitating the 4th Falun Gong exercise, extending two hands over his head. He said that he had practiced Falun Gong for a while. This time, he said, he would read the flyer carefully and start to practice Falun Gong again.

Later, we had to change planes at the Paris Airport. While we were passing customs, the customs agent did not pay too much attention to my ticket and documents. Instead, he paid attention to the "SOS" button I wore on my shirt. I immediately realized that he was waiting to learn about Dafa. I took out a French language flyer and handed it to him. He accepted it with pleasure and let me pass. Then, in the tunnel walkway to the airplane, a woman security agent stopped me and wanted to check my carry-on bag. Upon opening my bag I realized that this was a chance for her to learn about Dafa. When she noticed my Falun Gong button, I handed her some Falun Gong materials in French. She accepted them with pleasure, told me to close my bag and wished me a pleasant trip. I realized how important the meaning of righteous thoughts and behavior are.

On the way back from the Dafa conference we took a taxi and chatted with the driver, an Iranian, who was very interested in China. When I talked about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, he said that he had seen it on TV and had learned that a lot of people in China were persecuted and that the situation is serious. I explained to him about Falun Gong and told him that I practice it. He told me that he had been looking for information on Falun Gong, and that he was very happy to meet me that day. We talked all the way to our destination, and finally before we left, we gave him our phone numbers so he could contact us about our practice schedule.
