A Firm Righteous Mind Can Defeat All Evil

(Clearwisdom.net) Leihe City in Henan Province was the first city in China to start a brainwashing center. It has held the largest number of "classes." Here, the evil has wildly persecuted many Falun Dafa practitioners.

On January 1, 2001, more than ten police officers and some computer technicians broke into practitioner Wu Junqing's home. They searched his house and examined his computer. When they found some articles from Minghui Net on the computer, they took him away, along with his computer and Falun Gong exercise tapes. In the detention center, because he and three other female practitioners called out that "Falun Dafa is good," six police officers including the head and the vice-head of the detention center bound them with ropes and beat them. Junqing's clothes were torn and his head was badly injured. The rope were so tight that they dug into his flesh, making his arms swell. When the police became tired, they threw the practitioners outside into the yard. It was snowing at the time.

The practitioners despised the evil with silence. Several hours later, the police dragged them back inside but still refused to untie them. They had to get help from others to eat or to use the toilet. Since the police could not obtain anything from Junqing, they illegally sentenced him to one year in a forced labor camp. In the labor camp, the police locked him up with drug addicts. They forced him to do heavy physical labor everyday and tortured him constantly. However, a practitioner's firm righteous mind toward Falun Dafa and a rational understanding of the Fa through cultivation are unshakable. Accordingly, Wu Junqing's determination in his practice could not be subdued, leading the police to extend his sentence for one and half months. Eventually, on February 13, 2002, Wu Junqing nobly walked out of Henan Xuchang Forced Labor Camp.

After his release from the labor camp, Junqing was secretly arrested at his work unit. On March 11, the police sent him to a brainwashing center in Leihe City. Leihe City held six brainwashing sessions last year. They use various methods to mentally torture Falun Dafa practitioners. They force practitioners to follow a military-like regimen. In the morning, even 60-year-old people have to perform drills. The practitioners are not able to practice the Falun Gong exercises, so some of them developed symptoms of hypertension and heart disease. Practitioners' family members are forced to write statements agreeing with the government slander of Falun Gong. Under the evil pressure, Junqing used the wisdom given by Dafa to overcome the persecution again and again. He became more mature and rational through these confrontations with the evil. Just like what Teacher said, "Indestructible righteous faith in the cosmos's Truth forms benevolent Dafa disciples' rock-solid, Diamond-Like Bodies, it frightens all evil, and the light of Truth it emanates makes the unrighteous elements in all beings' thoughts disintegrate." Yang Guozhen, Vice Party Secretary, is the organizer of the Leihe City brainwashing center. He became ill at the beginning of the session. His cold has advanced to become pneumonia, yet he still has not awakened to the consequences of his evil behavior.

The practitioners established righteous minds during their tribulation. The brainwashing session extended from one month to two months. The practitioners realized that they should not allow it to continue and went on a hunger strike together to protest the persecution. On May 13, the third day of the hunger strike, they took Junqing away and we have not heard from him since. Since the evil has been strictly monitoring him, we have been unable to obtain more detailed information. We believe that he will certainly accomplish his mission bestowed by history.
