Central News Agency: Korean Falun Gong Practitioners Promote Dafa in Front of Kwangju Stadium during FIFA World Cup

(Clearwisdom.net) Reporter Jiang Yuanzhen of the Central News Agency reported from Seoul, Korea on June 4 that more than forty Falun Gong practitioners from the Falun Dafa Association in Korea distributed visors and fans in front of the Kwangju Stadium to promote Dafa during the China vs. Costa Rica match.

The report stated that Quan Hongda, the head of the Falun Dafa Association in Korea, coordinated the gathering of more than forty practitioners outside Kwangju Stadium, where a match between China and Costa Rica would take place in the afternoon. Dressed in yellow T-shirts, the practitioners actively spread Falun Gong by distributing visors and fans to the Kwangju residents, foreign tourists and football fans.

Another source reported that the Chinese government sent police to the FIFA World Cup and urged Korean authorities to take action against Falun Gong. To avoid any conflict in diplomatic relations with China, the Korean authorities asked Falun Gong practitioners not to hold any group gatherings or group activities.

Regarding the Fa spreading activities of Falun Gong practitioners, Quan Hongda emphasized that although some people were afraid that their activities might cause diplomatic conflicts between the two countries, the Korean practitioners sincerely wished the FIFA World Cup success. Their intention is to let the Chinese people coming to the FIFA World Cup know that in Korea, people can practice Falun Gong freely and Falun Gong is not what the Jiang regime says it is.

In cooperating with the police, Falun Gong practitioners in Korea dispersed around Kwangju Stadium and started to promote Dafa person to person.
