A practitioner was told by a friend about that friend's relative who works in a street residential committee in a city of northeastern China. A few days ago, the residential committee received a so-called "latest document": Jiang's government wants to have another large arrest action and wants to give heavy sentences to practitioners, including capital punishment. She also said the street committee always hires some unemployed persons to watch Dafa practitioners.

After Dafa practitioner Guo Ping from Kunwen area, Weifang City was tortured to death, the evil thugs immediately cremated her body in order to escape their responsibilities. Guo Ping's family argued strongly based on the true facts and would like to file a lawsuit.

At the end of May, practitioners in a city in Sichuan held a small scale Fa conference and shared their experiences with one another. Later, because some bad persons reported the event to the police, police came to illegally arrest the practitioners. Luckily, the room had long been empty when the police arrived.

On May 19, over forty practitioners shared experiences in an area in Chendu City. Dozens of practitioners were arrested. It is said that Chen Jifang (female) and Du Peiyang from Shuinianhe were each sentenced to three years of forced labor.

Since March, evil people in Linju County led by the director of 610 Office Liu Jianguo have been everywhere to arrest practitioners. Until now, there have been many practitioners being arrested. Most times they arrest dozens of practitioners at a time. They adopt means such as jumping over the wall at midnight, ransacking the house, and stealing personal property. Only when they arrest practitioners do they extort money from the families, ranging from thousands of Yuan to tens of thousands of Yuan. In the middle of April, in Linju County, there were a few practitioners being taken away by evil thugs. It is said that the practitioners have been sentenced to forced labor. Also, it is said that Liu Jianguo has received karmic retribution for his actions harming practitioners: recently his neck developed many swollen lumps that remain to be diagnosed. He has been to Jinan many times for treatment.

Since July 20, 1999, over forty practitioners have been sentenced to forced labor. Among them, Liu Peidong was sentenced to seven years of labor camp without any legal procedure. The reason that Qiyuan has so many practitioners being sent to labor camp is that Qiyuan is a so-called "advanced unit" in management in Shandong Province. In order to preserve its "advanced status", the authorities send practitioners to a forced labor camp even if they only find practitioners clarifying the truth or distributing flyers. Recently, several practitioners from Linju went to Qiyuan to clarify the truth and were arrested in Qiyuan. Police also seized their personal property and cash.

In 1999, the perpetrators from Hongxiang town and Shuangchen town hung signs slandering Dafa on the necks of dozens of practitioners and forced them to parade down through the streets in a manner that hasn't been seen since the cultural revolution when these types of methods of humiliation were in common use.

1. In 2000, the authorities detained 40 practitioners who went there to appeal in a detention center for one month. They directed the criminals to torture practitioners.
2. In January 2001, the authorities detained over 70 practitioners in drug addiction treatment centers and detention centers and tortured them cruelly.
3. In March 2001, 22 practitioners were sent to Gansu No 1 Labor Camp (Pingantai Labor Camp) and were tortured cruelly.
4. In May 2001, authorities sent eight practitioners to Gansu's No. 1 Labor Camp and No. 2 Labor Camp and had them tortured.
5. The perpetrators persecutes practitioners not only physically and mentally; they also extorted them of their money and confiscated their property. They even beat the family members, including children.

Many other practitioners have left their homes to avoid further persecution and have no where to live.

Ms. Zhang, a middle-aged woman from the Daowai area of Harbin City, sells books for a living. In early June 2002, she was delivering goods to the Manhattan Shopping Center in the Daoli area. While clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa to vendors there, she was illegally abducted by the shopping center security guards. Her location is still unknown.

In April 2002, two Falun Dafa practitioners, a male and a female from Tsinghua University, were illegally captured in Gansu Province while they were sharing cultivation experiences with three practitioners from Chishui County. They subsequently received illegal jail sentences and are currently detained in the Doujun Forced Labor Cement Plant.

In March 2002, local thugs abducted a Falun Dafa practitioner who is a bank employee in Doujun City, Guizhou Province. Since his wife had just undergone brain surgery, his young daughter and elderly parents needed him to take care of them. However, no matter how strongly his relatives asked for his release, the thugs refused.

We hope that fellow practitioners who see this news will send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil. This will help all practitioners who are illegally detained in forced labor camps and brainwashing centers to walk out of those dens of evil.

Partial list of Falun Dafa practitioners who are being persecuted:

• Hou Youfang went to appeal for Falun Dafa in January 2000. She was escorted back and illegally detained for fifteen days. Later on, she was secretly sent to a forced labor camp. She has recently become homeless, due to the persecution that followed her return from appealing in Beijing.

• Fu Guiqing also became homeless, due to persecution by the police. She had been illegally captured four or five times and was eventually sent to a forced labor camp.
• Guo Hong, has also been illegally captured four or five times. Her work unit has already confiscated all of her property and now she has to leave home in order to avoid further persecution.

• On October 17, 2000, Sun Lancheng, a 63-year-old woman, went to appeal for Falun Dafa. When she came back, five days later, she was brutally persecuted for eighteen days, fined 180 yuan RMB (500 yuan is the average monthly salary in urban China). She was then sent to a brainwashing program for over forty days and had more than 800 yuan extorted from her.
• Cao Fengying went to appeal for Falun Dafa in January 2000. She was escorted back and illegally detained for fifteen days. A policeman named Yan, from the Xinhualu Police Substation in Jinchang City, extorted 1000 yuan from Cao. She was then sent to a brainwashing program for seventy days and had an additional 840 yuan extorted from her. Following that, she was illegally detained for over a month, was released, then lived at home under surveillance for more than thirty days.
• Li Yuzhen, female, a female over 50 years old, was illegally detained for fifteen days after she came back from appealing for Falun Dafa. The Xinhualu Police Substation in Jinchang City extorted 1000 yuan from her. She was also abducted and sent to a brainwashing program for seven days.

Chen Fenggang, Head of the Wuwei City Politics and Security Team, inhumanely persecutes Falun Dafa practitioners. Due to all the crimes he committed against Falun Dafa practitioners, he has received his karmicretribution. He can hardly stand, with his body shaking all the time, and he is too disabled to work. Inside the Wuwei City Public Security Bureau, everybody knows that his tragedy is the result of persecuting Falun Dafa and practitioners.

We hope that the vicious thugs who are still committing these crimes will awaken as soon as possible, and stop persecuting Falun Dafa and practitioners. Otherwise, they will be dragged into the abyss of sin created by Jiang and Luo . We hope that they will have some consideration for their own eternal lives!

The Politics and Security Team in Gulang County has closely followed directions from the Jiang and Luo Criminal regime, in persecuting Falun Dafa since July 1999. Team Director Zhao Fu, vicious policeman Lie Gaoshan and Gancheng Police Substation Director Jian Songshan, have employed various contemptible means to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. They have detained over ten practitioners, and secretly sent four of them to the Pingantai Forced Labor Camp in April 2001.

Since 1999, Yan Ronggui, Director of Section One in the Doujun Public Security Bureau, has become the main criminal of the "610" Office [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. Many times, he has illegally captured Falun Dafa practitioners and once used fabricated charges to sentence over twenty innocent practitioners to forced labor camps for five years, the longest allowable term.

The above named people have, on many occasions, planned and instructed the Politics and Law offices and Public Security Bureau to beat up Falun Dafa practitioners, search their homes, burn Falun Dafa books and hold brainwashing classes. Within the three year period, they have illegally sentenced twenty-two Falun Dafa practitioners to forced labor camps.
