(Clearwisdom.net) June 1 was the International Children's Day. Falun Gong practitioners attended the celebrations in both the City of Leipzig and the City of Jena.

In Lipzig, many citizens already knew about Falun Dafa. Today, lots of parents carried their children and cheerfully came to our booth to ask for more information and requested to learn the Falun Gong exercises. Among them, there was an 8 or 9 year old boy who was hanging around our booth for the whole day. After learning the exercises from a female practitioner, he seriously followed the practitioners to practice the exercises. After that, he asked some Dafa materials for his mother. Shortly after, he came back again to practice the exercises. In this way, he did the practice three times. In the end, he even dragged his mother to learn the exercises. Practitioners cordially explained detailed information to the mother and son. They stayed until the activity concluded. Another mother carried her 2-years old son to come to learn the exercises. In spite of the young age, the small child learned the exercises very seriously. Shortly after, that small boy's elder sister brought her classmates to our booth to learn the exercises. They sat in a circle, attentively learned the movements. A practitioner said, "This is really a touching scene." During the one-day celebration, children and adults continuously came to our booth to learn the exercises or to request Dafa information.

In another city Jena, practitioners were invited by the Municipal Bureau of Culture to participate in a meaningful event at the downtown of Kleiner Saalestadt.

Community organizations in the nearby area were invited to join the event. Since last fall, we set up a practice site at the Jena Woman Center. Now in the busy downtown area, practitioners from nearby area joined together to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises.

The climate was very pleasant. The sunshine was bright and the sky was clear. Our group exercises attracted much attention from the passersby and the weekend shoppers.

The local people are very straightforward and full of zest. They were very surprised to see us who were so serene. Two big bands vigorously played music and performed dances on both sides of our booth, but we were not affected at all by the vibrant sound. We continued to practice the exercises and to clarify the truth.

Our booth attracted much attention. A number of people came over to ask what we were doing and where to learn the exercises. Many people watched us doing the exercises for a long time and even took pictures or shot the scene. Some people came to our booth many times to ask what Falun Dafa is about and requested Dafa materials.

Our handing out bookmarks also attracted many visitors. The Chinese characters of "Truth Compassion Tolerance" were printed on the bookmarks. Those hurry weekend shoppers also patiently waited in the long queue to get one Falun Dafa bookmark and chatted with us about Falun Gong. During the period while they were waiting, they discussed with us many related issues, such as: the reason why we cultivate, how to cultivate, and the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China as well as the situation in the entire world. People all agreed that a world based on the principle of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance is what all humans wish for.

Practitioners who participated in the event all felt that this was a meaningful day.
