"The Old Forces Don't Dare to Oppose Our Clarifying The Truth or Saving Sentient Beings."

(Clearwisdom.net) After Changchun Dafa practitioners broadcast Falun Gong truth-clarifying programs on March 5, the Changchun police force's behavior reached new heights of frenzy. There were police cars everywhere. Plainclothes police searched Dafa practitioners' houses, confiscated their property, and spirited away practitioners.

After I heard news of the broadcast, I didn't think the police would actually come and search my home. Yet that morning, I discussed with another practitioner how we should hide Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. The practitioner said, "In a house, the materials can be easily found even if you try and hide them." I felt that there was something not quite right with this practitioner's answer, but I didn't consider it more deeply at the time. That afternoon, the police arrived at my door demanding to search my home. I immediately sent forth righteous thoughts and added a thought that they not be able to find anything or take anything from my home. I followed closely behind the policeman and continuously sent righteous thoughts. I felt that the policeman became less aggressive in his search. I told him that I had nothing in the house, and that he should go look somewhere else. Another policeman searched the other room, and my child followed closely behind him, continuously sending righteous thoughts. When the policeman got close to the truth-clarifying material, his mobile phone began to ring. He stopped and answered his phone. At the time there was only one thing on my mind -- that they would not find anything. The policeman searched a few more spots and could not find anything. He then went into another room. On the one hand I was sending forth righteous thoughts and on the other hand I asked Teacher for help. Once the policeman stepped inside the room, his cell phone rang immediately, and he was then busy talking on the phone. In fact, there were more than ten places in my house that I had put Dafa books, videos and truth-clarifying CDs. They didn't even notice the copy of Teacher's lecture sitting on the table. My child and I followed the policemen closely and continuously sent forth righteous thoughts. The police just could not find anything and they became less aggressive. Teacher said, "When you conduct yourselves righteously Master can do anything for you. If your righteous thoughts are truly strong, if you're able to put aside the thought of life and death, and if you're solid and unshakable like diamond, then those evil beings won't dare to touch you," (from Touring North America to Teach the Fa).

They searched my house for a long time and suddenly I enlightened that they should not even be in my home. My mind thought that they should leave immediately. Not long after they found an excuse and said, "Even though we don't like your attitude, for the sake of your child, we won't detain you today." Later, I learned that a car full of policemen had come and because of the power of righteous thoughts, they were unable to succeed with their plan.

Through this incident, I realized that we have to look at things from the angle of the Fa, to hold firm righteous thoughts and belief. Teacher told us, "Indestructible righteous faith in the cosmos's truth forms benevolent Dafa disciples' rock-solid, diamond-like bodies, it frightens all evil, and the light of truth it emanates makes the unrighteous elements in all beings' thoughts disintegrate." When the policemen entered my house, I did not allow myself to have the idea that they would take me away. The police found Dafa materials in the house of the practitioner who told me he didn't believe he could hide the Dafa materials effectively. He was also detained. From this experience, I enlightened to new meanings of Teacher's words, "The old forces don't dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What's key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things." (Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston) When we have a righteous mind and belief, the old forces cannot persecute us.
