On June 22 and 23, 2002, Canton City, about 100 miles east of Dallas, Texas, held its first Annual Life Health Expo. Dallas Dafa practitioners were invited to demonstrate the exercises and introduce Falun Dafa to the public for two days.
During the two days, practitioners wore bright yellow suits and demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises in turns. Their peaceful and serene practice attracted many visitors to stop and watch. Some visitors asked to learn the exercises on the spot. Many asked for Dafa literature and bought the Falun Gong exercise videotape. The practitioners also showed the video of true stories of Falun Gong and presented truth-clarifying VCD's to other booths.
Some visitors sincerely expressed their appreciation and embraced the practitioners after hearing that all our activities are free and voluntary. They also invited us to teach the exercises. Some people took more truth-clarifying literature for their neighbors.
We met quiet a few predestined people during the two-day activities. Some of them learned Falun Gong before but failed to continue due to various reasons. Some practiced at home after learning. They were very happy to meet us. We encouraged them to continue their cultivation.
