(Clearwisdom.net) On June 22, the Hsinchu Branch of the Taiwan Heart Association was founded. Invited by Taiwan's Vice President, Ms. Lu Hsiulien, practitioners went to the Elegant Banquet Hall to give a 15-minute Falun Gong exercise demonstration to the professors and scholars present. Vice President Lu and the attendees very attentively watched the entire presentation. Some audience members even followed the practitioners' movements to learn the exercises.

When the practice music was played, the whole audience immediately became quiet, and the banquet hall was filled with a peaceful atmosphere. The more than 150 scholars all attentively watched the exercise demonstration, as the entire meeting hall was in a peaceful and solemn field of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance." It was very touching.

During the 15-minute presentation, two practitioners took turns introducing the principles underlying the five sets of exercises. They explained that Falun Dafa is a cultivation practice based on the universal principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance," which emphasizes cultivating Xinxing (moral character, mind nature) in addition to practicing the exercises. Now there are over 700 practice sites in Taiwan. Falun Dafa has spread widely throughout over 50 countries and has over 100 million practitioners around the world. Zhuan Falun has been translated into more than 20 languages. Two other practitioners handed out introductory materials and CDs which contain practitioners' cultivation stories and reveal the truth of the persecution by Jiang's regime.

The Taiwan Heart Association is an organization whose members are mainly scholars and specialists. With the exception of delegates from other areas, members are mostly professors from Chaio Tung University and Tsing Hua University, including the president of Jiao Tong University and specialists from the Hsinchu Science field, numbering over 150 in all. Practitioners distributed all of their introductory materials.

Before the presentation, some professors remarked that they finally had the chance to watch Falun Gong exercise demonstrations. They indeed have been waiting for so long. The Vice President also said in her speech: "If people's hearts are good, the society will be good."

Falun Dafa emphasizes cultivating people's moral character, also called heart-nature or mind-nature. During the short presentation, all practitioners were moved. As one practitioner said in his report: "Human beings need Truth-Compassion-Tolerance; the world also needs Truth-Compassion-Tolerance." If all people in the world keep Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance in their hearts, what a wonderful world it would be!
