Let Go of "Self" and Melt Into Fa Rectification

(Clearwisdom.net) One day a fellow practitioner suffered pain all over her body to the extent that she could hardly bear it. She realized that it was the evil force's persecution, so she sent forth righteous thoughts and studied the Fa everyday. After several days, though, she still couldn't overcome the tribulation. One day, a Chinese person with a Ph.D. degree wanted to learn about Falun Gong. This fellow practitioner thought this was a good opportunity to promote Dafa and clarify the truth. As she was uneasy about her physical condition, she asked another practitioner to go with her. How surprised the other practitioner was that when this practitioner began to clarify the truth, she told her that the painful condition was completely gone. She clarified the truth in a convincing manner, with clear logic and reasoning. This person with the Ph.D. degree thought what she said was quite logical, and took materials and planned to study them afterwards. The practitioner was very surprised at the change that took place in herself as well. All she thought about at the time was to let this Chinese person learn about the truth and nothing else.

There was another practitioner who sent forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese Consulate on World Falun Dafa Day. She was experiencing symptoms of fever, her mouth had blisters, and she even had difficulty speaking. When a police officer went to her and asked questions, she used the opportunity to promote the Fa to the police officer and told him about the persecution. The policeman was quite sympathetic. At that time, she did not think about her own difficulties at all, but only thought about clarifying the truth to the policeman. She did not feel the pain in her mouth at all. Their experiences inspired me greatly. The old forces use our remaining attachments to persecute and interfere with us, but we can't simply regard them as tribulations in individual cultivation, and think that we should adjust ourselves first and do Dafa work when we are in a good condition again. We shouldn't forget about our Fa-rectification mission in the process of enduring hardships. Teacher said, "As far as your own cultivation goes, you've already gone through the course of cultivation. You are beings who are being established for Dafa." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Fa Conference," Guiding the Voyage) We should clearly know that we should follow Teacher's words, "Clarify the truth thoroughly, eliminate the evil with righteous thoughts, save all beings, and safeguard the Fa with determination." ("Dafa is Indestructible," Essentials for Further Advancement II) This is our irrefutable responsibility. When we maintain righteous thoughts, forget about our selfishness and dive into Fa-rectification and clarifying the truth, the power of Dafa will then manifest itself in us. Our benevolent Teacher told us, "When your action is righteous, Master can do anything for you." (Touring North America to Teach the Fa)
