By a Dafa practitioner in China

Oftentimes when I clarify the truth to people, they do not understand our banners and assume that the contents are merely slogans that don't carry any significant meaning. Even though practitioners make great efforts to distribute Dafa flyers, some people don't read them because they are either too busy, the content of the flyers doesn't interest them, or because they are poisoned by the Jiang regime's fabricated propaganda.

Different phases of Fa-rectification have different requirements of practitioners. The current phase of Fa-rectification requires every practitioner to clarify the truth in a more thorough, careful and comprehensive way, and to do our best in saving more sentient beings. In order to do this effectively, we need to improve both the format as well as the substance of our truth clarifying effort so as to effectively break through the barriers that restrict people from awakening to the truth.

Regarding banners, the wording could be made more concise to inspire people to think. To allow people who have tight schedules to read our materials, the flyers could be made shorter with more diverse, eye-catching content. We need to consider different audiences and improve the content of our flyers accordingly. We could also consider adding questions to inspire readers to think, such as:

1. Why in the seven years before the persecution started, wasn't there a single report of Falun Gong practitioners committing suicide, having mental problems, or being involved in any form of violence at all? Back then, Falun Gong was praised by the government, so how come all the reports turned negative ever since Falun Gong was banned?

2. Falun Gong has spread to more than sixty countries around the world, and over 100 million people practice it. Why is Falun Gong slandered and banned only in China? Why have negative reports of Falun Gong related so-called suicide and mental problems only come from China?

3. Through three years of persecution, Falun Gong is still around and gaining popularity among people all over the world. If Falun Gong is not good, why are people still practicing it in spite of the persecution?

4. Why aren't the voices of people who have benefited from practicing Dafa in China displayed on TV? Why is the Chinese government attempting to block the truth of Falun Gong? Why are they destroying Falun Gong books and blocking all possible channels to stop people from knowing what Falun Gong really is?

5. Why is it said that the persecution of Falun Gong relates to every one?

6. In the ten years of the "Cultural Revolution," Red Guards [an organization of young people who fanatically carried out acts of violence under the direction of the authorities at the time] committed a lot of evil deeds, even murdering people. Today, who is putting the same kind of hatred into people's hearts?
