(Clearwisdom.net) When China's Vice Premier Li Lanqing, overseer of the "610 Office," was visiting Florence, Italy, Chinese security officers took steps to interfere with Dafa practitioners' peaceful appeal. We used this opportunity to talk with the Italian plainclothes police officers who had been called in to "deal with" us, and to clarify the truth to them. They were actually quite interested in learning what Falun Gong is and why the Chinese government suppresses it.
We explained to them that it was not the Chinese government, but Jiang's gang that is behind the persecution of Falun Gong. We explained that in order to extensively persecute Falun Gong, they set up the "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration of the Party, and all other political and judiciary system). We informed the police officers that Li Lanqing, the Vice Premier of China, also oversees the illegal "610 Office." Under Jiang's rule, they have employed every despicable means to pursue their own selfish goals, putting the interests of the entire country and its people below their own. They did not even respect the life of an eight month-old baby. Both this baby and his mother were tortured to death simply because his mother firmly believed in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" and wanted to be a good person.
One of the Italian police was very angry upon hearing this and said, "He is not a human! You need to expose these crimes in the newspaper. We cannot let them continue to harm people like this. The whole world must know the truth: there are no human rights in China!" At that moment two other police officers walked up to where we were standing. The kind-hearted officer then told them what he had just heard. They were both surprised and angry. They told us, "Our country supports your actions. We cannot tolerate the existence of such brutality in the 21st century."
We also told the police, "A moment ago your colleagues were simply carrying out orders from above and sought to force us to stay further away from the conference site. At the same time, Chinese police videotaped this scene so that they could use the tape to produce propaganda portraying to the Chinese people that Italy does not 'approve' of Falun Gong, and that it even 'suppresses' Falun Gong." They said, "This is outrageous! You certainly need to expose their bad deeds. We support you."
At that moment, the meeting of high-level officials was ending. The Chinese delegation's motorcade was leaving and approaching us. We immediately pulled out our yellow T-shirts printed with "Falun Dafa." Fifty meters away, other practitioners were sending righteous thoughts, and a big banner awaited the motorcade a little further down the road.
Every activity is a good opportunity to clarify the truth. Regardless of what kind of interference we may encounter, we will never accept the arrangement of the old forces, and we will use every opportunity to clarify the truth. Let us use our wisdom to offer salvation to more sentient beings.
