Facts Regarding the Death of Dafa Practitioner Wang Kefei in the Changchun Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp

While in the forced labor camp, I was shocked when I heard that Wang Kefei had been persecuted to death. I cried several times. Her indestructible righteous faith in Dafa and her righteous deeds through which she refused to cooperate with the evil in the forced labor camp reappeared in front of me, and I was once again deeply moved. During the painful one-month hunger strike before Wang Kefei left the human world, the guards in the labor camp tortured her both mentally and physically. A few days before she passed away, even before they sent Wang Kefei to the hospital, the officials from the labor camp forced each and every person to sign their names on a statement, which said that Wang Kefei's death had nothing to do with guard Wang Lihua. Those practitioners who refused to sign their names were taken to the guards' office. The guards tried to force them to sign, but they still refused. This innocent Dafa practitioner's life was in danger due to the persecution, but the officials of the labor camp ignored her weakening condition and first thought about how to avoid responsibility.

In November 2001, Wang Kefei was transferred from Team 6 to the third group of Team 7, where we were detained together. Wang Kefei told me that she once lost consciousness from being beaten in Team 6. The guards used all possible means in trying to force her to give up practicing Dafa, but they were still not able to achieve their goal. In Team 7, she was not subjected to the same torture as in Team 6. But still, the torture in Team 7 was such that many practitioners in Team 7 could not bear the overloaded forced labor any more. Before Wang Kefei came here, several people passed out while they were working. Every day, we were forced to work from 4 in the morning until 10 p.m., sometimes until midnight or even until 1 or 2 a.m. Wang Kefei went on a hunger strike to protest the forced labor and the illegal detention. During the one-month hunger strike, the officials in the labor camp asked several prisoners to watch over Wang Kefei. The prisoners always cursed at her. At the beginning, they tied Wang Kefei to a "death bed" [The four limbs of the practitioner are stretched out and tied to the four corners of an icy-cold metal bed. The practitioner cannot move at all, nor is she allowed to get up to eat, drink, or go to the bathroom. This treatment will last from several hours up to more than a dozen days.] and didn't release her until she lost consciousness. A prisoner named Ji Fengqin slapped Wang Kefei's face because she refused to eat. Every day, Wang Kefei was brutally force-fed, causing her to vomit blood. She was too weak to walk, but the guards didn't allow other people to support her with their hands. During the last few days, Wang Kefei was unable to walk after being force-fed. A former practitioner who turned against Dafa named Qi Xiuqin carried her back, threw her on the floor and brutally kicked her twice.

During her hunger strike protest, Wang Kefei endured tremendous physical torture. What is more despicable is that the guards and prisoners treated her with no human dignity. On one occasion, team leaders Hou Zhihong and Liu Hu were both there.

The officials of the forced labor camp are undeniably responsible for Wang Kefei's death. During two years of detention, I witnessed the guards' extremely brutal and wicked behavior; they are the real murderers. Wang Kefei is only one of the many Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted.
