(Clearwisdom.net) On May 8, 2002, a fellow practitioner and I went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing to rectify the Fa. We sent righteous thoughts on the train all the way to Beijing and arrived without any trouble. At about 6:30 p.m., after taking the subway, we walked into Tiananmen Square with the compassionate wish to save sentient beings. Although it started to become dark, there were still many people at the square. Plainclothes police, regular police, and armed policemen patrolling in pairs were seen walking around everywhere. Seeing that, we felt a little depressed. Although we immediately sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate interference, we were still not quite calm. We walked out of the square and decided to spend a night on some nearby benches.

We went to Tiananmen Square very early the next day. Since we were stuck with the human notion that we didn't have any banners, we hesitated and didn't do anything until noon. When we walked out of Tiananmen Square again, we witnessed with our own eyes a lady (a practitioner from Shandong Province) raising a banner with "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" on it, holding it high with two hands, and walking into the square. At the same time, she called out to the tourists with compassion, "Falun Dafa is good. Falun Dafa is righteous!" The magnificent feat of the practitioner deeply encouraged us and seemed to tell us, "Dafa practitioners, step forward! No fear!" We both followed the lady silently and kept sending forth righteous thoughts for her. She safely entered Tiananmen Square and then packed up the banner. Together we exchanged experiences. The lady encouraged us to put down any thought of life and death, to think that we would eliminate all evil in other dimensions that persecuted Dafa, and to ask for Master's help in not letting the police see us.

We adjusted ourselves. Then, seeing there were no police around and a group of tourists coming towards us, the lady held up the banner again while we three called out from the bottom of our hearts, "Falun Dafa is Good! Falun Dafa is righteous! Restore Falun Dafa's innocent name! Restore our Master's innocent name!" In a split second, people around all turned to us. They were saying something in low voices. Then we packed up the banner and walked to the subway entrance with the crowd. We disappeared in the crowd.

We got the banner from the lady and said goodbye to her. We decided to hang the banner on the square. After dinner, we went to Tiananmen Square again. Around 8 p.m., we taped the banner (about 1 meter long) to the Gate of Qianmen [an ancient building at the south of Tiananmen Square]. Under the lights of the night, the yellow words of "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" on the red background glowed brightly and most magnificently. Walking about 20 meters away, we turned around to look. A crowd of people was gathering there and watching. We were truly happy for those beings. We went back home that same night.

This experience of Fa-rectification on Tiananmen Square helped me to deeply understand that Master is watching and protecting us at every moment. With Master's help, as long as we keep righteous thoughts and do righteous deeds, the evil means nothing.
