Falun Gong Truth-Clarification Programs Seen On Nine Channels of CCTV and Ten Provincial TV Stations

(Clearwisdom.net) Freelance reporter, Zheng Yanxiong, reported from China on July 8 -- From June 23 to 30, the Xinnuo Satellite that covers all of China has been receiving Falun Gong program signals in succession. To date, 9 channels of China Central TV (CCTV) and 10 provincial TV Stations have broadcast Falun Gong videos. The broadcasting of Falun Gong truth-clarification programs is a big opening up of the information blockade and an exposure of the national terrorism conducted by Jiang.

A famous overseas scholar commented that, "Under the violence, any peaceful appeal that is meant to protect basic human rights is legal."

According to the Hong Kong based "China Human Rights and Democratic Movement Information Center," at about 7:10 p.m. on June 23, in an area centered around Laiyang County, Shandong Province, residents suddenly saw a banner reading "Falun Dafa Hao (Falun Dafa is Good)" displayed on CCTV Channel 3 screen, which lasted about 15 minutes. At the same time, in Yantai area in Shandong Province, CCTV Channel 1 and Channel 5 also had "Falun Dafa is Good" appearing on their screens. According to an unverified news source, at about 8:00 a.m. on June 25, Hunan Province Cable TV was also intercepted and a Falun Gong program was broadcast for about 2 minutes. However, the covered area is as yet undetermined.

"It is very rare to have such a long-time and large-scale interception," some technicians said. An overseas Chinese said in an email, "In China, there is in fact no law. All the laws in China are just tools used by the rulers. If the rulers want to attack somebody, they will make some laws to justify their action. If the actions of the rulers are not legal, they will then make some new laws to legalize their actions. In addition, the rulers often seek excuses for their illegal actions through fabricating and spreading lies."

A New York City resident, Ms. Wang, has many friends in China. When she heard about the broadcasting of Falun Gong programs in China, she was very happy and said, "I really admire those courageous people who brought the truth of Falun Gong to the Chinese people. The most important thing is that over 1 billion people who have been deceived by the lies now have the chance and a channel to learn about the truth. They [referring to those people who did the broadcasting] are really great. I respect them because all they want is to let people know the truth and what they really care about is the people."

Before moving to the U.S., Mr. Lin experienced all kinds of political movements in China. He is now a Falun Gong practitioner. After hearing the news, he said, "The Chinese government utilizes its propaganda machine at will in order to achieve its political agenda, without regard to the facts. In the past, they have obtained much experience in deceiving people and carrying out various political movements...This time the broadcasting is on such a large scale that even the Chinese government itself has to admit that its TV programs have been intercepted by Falun Gong. Of course, they labeled this action as something illegal. During the past 3 years, Falun Gong practitioners have had the courage to risk their lives to stand up to speak out the truth and try all means to deliver the truth to the Chinese people. However, we don't know whether the broadcast this time was done by oversea Falun Gong practitioners."
