(Clearwisdom.net) According to the Hong Kong-based Information Center for Human Rights & Democratic Movements in China, at about 7:10 p.m. on June 23, in several counties and districts that surround Laiyang County in Shandong Province, the third channel of CCTV program (mainly for music and opera) was suddenly interrupted. A banner reading "Falun Dafa is good" appeared on the screen and lasted about 15 minutes. In some areas of Yantai City in Shandong Province, the first and fifth channel of CCTV program also showed a banner reading "Falun Dafa is good" for about 5 seconds. In addition, according to unconfirmed information, around 8:00 a.m. on June 25, Satellite TV programming in Hunan Province was replaced by a Falun Gong program for two minutes. The exact areas being covered were unclear.

On hearing this news, from the bottom of my heart I respected these people who courageously broke through the national terrorism and conveyed the truth to Chinese people with sophisticated techniques in order to safeguard justice in the human world. At this time when all the news media are totally controlled by the state power and are poisoning the public, what is the crime of clarifying the truth to Chinese people through TV programs in a peaceful manner? Under the state power and the violence, all peaceful movements to protect basic human rights are legal. They are restoring the social morality, justice and rule of law. These actions are fundamentally benefiting our country, society, and citizens, and safeguarding human civilization as well.

On July 8, 2002, CCTV and Xinhua News Agency again slandered Falun Gong [Falun Gong practitioners used TV systems to broadcast the truth-clarifying videos]. They stigmatized Falun Gong practitioners, accusing them of violating the law. They attempted to arouse the animosity of people who did not know the truth. However CCTV and Xinhua News Agency dare not tell what is exactly in the Falun Gong program the practitioners broadcast; they are very clear in their minds that the programs put forth the truth.

It is widely recognized that the reason human civilization can exist and develop is that human beings follow a common moral standard and apply all kinds of civilized methods to work hard to safeguard social achievements in every stage of human society.

In civilized society, the law has authority because it has a moral foundation. Its authority comes from most people's pursuit of justice, equity, and morality, not from government power. Therefore, the content of the law must be in accordance with people's expectation of high morality and good behavior, and also of fair and ordered government. In this vein, as freedom of belief and freedom of speech are people's basic rights, and as the public expects to know the truth, the law should protect these freedoms.

Western renowned legal experts consider the eventual purpose of the law to be freedom. Justice is the most important characteristic of law. If there is no freedom of speech, then there is no justice. Then aren't those people who are trampling human morality, depriving people of freedom of speech, and destroying the just enforcement of the law, fundamentally destroying human civilization?

Since July 1999, a series of actions by the people in power, including the slanderous "labeling" of Falun Gong, the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, and using massive media to attack, slander and make false charges against Falun Gong, have trampled the laws and basic morality from the beginning. In China, the governmental power has utilized the news media to demonize and illegally charge Falun Gong, a spiritual exercise that has brought peace and happiness to over a hundred million people. For three years, there has been no second voice on Falun Gong. If you take a close look at what the Jiang regime has done to Falun Gong and Falun Gong practitioners by using TV and other propaganda media, it will not be difficult to see who is committing the crimes.

-- Directed "Tiananmen Self-Immolation Event" and shifted the blame on Falun Gong. The International Education Development (IED) organization has already pointed out on August 14, 2001 that the "Tiananmen Self-Immolation Event" was "solely directed by the Chinese Government." Liu Chunling was struck to death on the scene, and the evidence is solid and indisputable. The [Chinese government's] videotape provided the most objective and undeniable murder evidence in a strict legal aspect. Thereafter, China Central Television and the Xinhua News Agency made up the additional "Beijing Murder Case," "Guan Shuyun Daughter-Killing Case" and other false news, which have deceived hundreds of millions of Chinese people.

-- Compiled "1400" cases. It is well known that Falun Gong unconditionally purifies people's bodies and teaches people to become better persons. From the day when it went public, it has enabled innumerable Chinese people to say goodbye to their diseases and start new lives. Moreover, Falun Gong explicitly points out: Falun Gong is not suitable for mentally ill or seriously ill patients to practice. However, in order to suppress Falun Gong, Jiang's regime has been using fabrications, substitutions, and other low and mean methods to deceive people.

-- Used torture, evil brainwashing and other methods to torture Falun Gong practitioners, forced them to give up their cultivation, and put those who were forced to give up their cultivation on television to carry out a so-called "exposing and criticizing" [of Falun Gong].

Since the beginning of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners from July 20, 1999 by a group of people led by Jiang, up to a hundred million innocent people have been persecuted, hundreds of thousands have been sent to forced labor camps and mental hospitals, and over a thousand people have been tortured to death. Moreover this kind of persecution is still continuing. On the other hand, Jiang's regime has resorted to all means to frame and attack Falun Dafa, a practice that teaches people to be good, and its innocent practitioners, and claimed that all of the persecutions of "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance" had become "legal" under Jiang's authorization.

History is like a mirror. Many people should remember the Nuremberg Trials. During World War II, in Nuremberg, the Nazi dictator formulated a series of laws to "protect the Nordic people," aiming directly at [eliminating] "the Jews" and taking away nearly all of the Jewish people's rights. These laws became Hitler's legal pass to carry out genocide. After World War II ended, history chose Nuremberg again as the place to try those vicious law enforcement people and the vicious "laws" that violated the foundations of morality and humanity.

We hope every Chinese person and all kind people around the world can distinguish right from wrong and truth from falsehood, work together to promote justice and condemn Jiang's political group, who are harming fundamental human rights and morality.
