Falun Gong Practitioners from San Francisco Hold a Benefit Performance to Clarify the Truth in Chinatown on Independence Day (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of July 4, the Independence Day of the United States, Falun Gong practitioners from the San Francisco Bay area came to the "Garden Corner" Park in San Francisco's Chinatown to hold a benefit performance with the theme of "Serving the people in the Chinese community and promoting Chinese culture." Performances included singing, dancing, origami, and painting and photography exhibitions. Using forms that were easy for everyday people to understand about Dafa, we clarified the truth and displayed the beauty of Dafa to people. There were many spectators and the effect was quite good.

Our performances attracted a great number of people, who warmly applauded again and again. After watching the performance, a group of visitors came over to request more information about Falun Gong and also expressed their wishes to learn Falun Gong.

An old gentleman kept taking pictures for us. Later we asked him why he took so many pictures, and he said: "It was so splendid! I want to take more pictures and show them to my relatives and friends to let them know how wonderful Falun Gong is!" We also told him that we were there to clarify the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. He said: "You should speak up, speak up! Otherwise, how would people know about the truth? And how would people love you and support you!"
