Shortly After Being Promoted, Yingtan Railway Policeman Killed In Car Accident
(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is,
being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental
teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe,
"Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in
harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will
incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while
evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a
compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of
those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires
that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of
wrongdoing may they escape retribution. Zhang Guoliang, a policeman from the Yingtan Railway Police Department in Jiangxi Province,
actively persecuted Dafa practitioners and caused several practitioners to be sentenced to forced
labor camps. In 2001, he was transferred to Nanchang City and promoted to bureau chief officer due
to "merit" obtained through persecuting practitioners. In 2002, at the end of June, he
received karmic retribution and was killed in a car accident. The Political and Judiciary Secretary Li Ruihua from Langfang City used her power to persecute
Falun Gong practitioners. Her carrying out the persecution against Dafa practitioners has impacted
her entire family. Her husband was dismissed from work, and her elder son also lost his job. Her
second son was seriously injured in a car accident. Li was also eventually dismissed from her job.
