(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

1. Zuo Fenghe was the police chief at the Dujiazhen Town Police Station in Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province. During the year 2000 he participated in the persecution of Dafa practitioners at Dujianzhen and detained 8 Dafa practitioners who clarified the truth. He was reprimanded with a demotion after being charged with bribery in 2001.

2. Several cases of karmic retribution for hospital workers who persecuted Dafa practitioners:

The head of a hospital was responsible for the kidnapping of Dafa practitioners and sending them to forced brainwashing. After a few months, he himself was found guilty of bribery and corruption. He is now in prison.

The head of a security department actively cooperated with the "610" officials to slander Dafa and Dafa practitioners. Later, he suffered acute tooth pains. After four molars were removed, the doctor found that his gums had numerous rare tumors.

A department head was closely involved in the persecution of Dafa practitioners. His family encountered one mishap after another. His wife was injured after being hit by a motorcycle. His father-in-law had severe internal bleeding after surgery was performed on his prostate. The department head himself suffered a sudden attack of appendicitis.
