Macao Police Track and Monitor Falun Dafa Practitioners During Fifth Anniversary of Hong Kong's Handover
By practitioners from Macao
(Clearwisdom.net) A week prior to the fifth anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China, the
Macao authorities sent plainclothes police officers to track and monitor some of
the local Falun Dafa practitioners. The surveillance was continual, day and
night. In the morning, while the practitioners practiced the Falun Dafa
exercises together, many plainclothes police officers watched from the side.
After the practitioners finished their exercises, the officers followed some of
them, monitoring them in their homes. Many Macao practitioners traveled to Hong
Kong, preparing to peacefully appeal during Jiang's visit, but the majority of
were blacklisted and unjustly refused entry by Hong Kong customs, and forced to
return to Macao. A practitioner from Taiwan had some business to conduct in
Macao. He was denied entrance at the Macao airport and sent back to Taiwan. The
so-called "one country, two systems" laws in Hong Kong and Macao are facing a
serious test. At 5:00 am on June 30, the practitioners began practicing the exercises
together at a park across from the Chinese Liaison Office in Macao. The police
then sent at least ten plainclothes officers to the park. After approximately
two hours, three police officers stayed to monitor the location while the others
left. During that day and July 1, while Jiang was visiting Hong Kong, the Macao
practitioners practiced the Dafa exercises, sent forth righteous thoughts,
shared experiences and studied the Fa together in this park. After these two
day-long activities, the Macao practitioners improved as a whole and gained
deeper understandings of the historical responibilities of being Fa-rectification
period practitioners. They also deepened and enhanced their abilities to clarify
the truth and offer salvation to the world.
