(Clearwisdom.net) During the summer vacation period, from June 29 to 30, 2002, The Matou Town Education Committee held a Falun Gong Study Course for teachers, their relatives and students' parents.

The Course included teaching the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and young practitioners' exercise demonstration. Mr. Chang Fu-Chang, who holds a Master's degree in chemistry from National Taiwan University and Doctor Ao Man-Kuan from the Orthopedics Department of Chenhsing Hospital, shared their cultivation experiences and validated the principles taught in Zhuan Falun from scientific perspectives, based on knowledge from their respective fields.

Mr. Ko Tung- Te, the principal of Peiwen National Primary School expressed that Falun Gong is an advanced cultivation way of the Buddha School. If the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" can be applied to society, it would be conducive to upgrading people's morality. Falun Gong practitioners are not political, but the Mainland authorities disregard people's human rights and persecute them without just cause.

The host of the course, Mr. Wang Bai-Lu, said that there are over 100 million people in more than 50 countries practicing Falun Gong. It is estimated that among Falun Dafa practitioners, the healing success rate in some categories reaches 98%. Masters degree holder Mr. Chang Fu-Chang from Taiwan National University explained the reason that he took up the practice of Falun Gong. As he majored in natural science, he believed what his eyes could see and emphasized experimental results. He didn't believe in the existence of Gods. After reading Zhuan Falun, he was amazed to discover that this book of about 400 pages expounds on enigmas that could not be completely understood in the scientific field. He realized that our physical eyes confine us from uncovering many truths of nature. Mr.Chang presented a collection of pictures to validate the principles in Zhuan Falun. For instance, when water temperature is dropped to the freezing point, water becomes crystallized. You will find that after being exposed to different kinds of music, the crystals' shape and color will differ. However, after being scolded, or hearing "evil", "demon" or "I will kill you", they looked very ugly. All these phenomena verify what is illustrated in Zhuan Falun; that matter and spirit are the same thing. He also showed one picture of a trilobite fossil with a human footprint on it and another picture of a fossil discovered in Texas with both a dinosaur's footprint and a human footprint on it. "An American scientist has discovered a trilobite fossil with a human footprint on it; the footprint was clearly printed on the fossil by a person in shoes. Isn't this mocking historians? According to Darwin's theory of evolution, how could there be human beings 260 million years ago?" (Zhuan Falun)

The sufficient examples verify that what is expounded on in Zhuan Falun breaks through the knowledge of modern science.

Before practicing cultivation in Falun Gong, Doctor Ao took up many hobbies such as swimming, golfing and dancing. He also studied Taichi from several Taichi masters. However, after working in a hospital for many years, he found that even the Taichi master could not be immortal. Only through cultivation, can one change one's life. Mr. Ao exchanged opinions with attendees on several questions they were interested in, such as why Taichi and Falun Gong can't be practiced together, why critically ill patients can't practice, and if we need to pay attention to our diets.

He also said that according to an officer working in the "610 Office" [The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems], the reason for the Party's persecution of Falun Gong is not only because of the large number of practitioners, but more importantly, it is because Falun Gong practitioners cultivate "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." What Jiang is afraid of most is truthfulness, as he rules the country with lies and relies on "struggling and fighting" to sustain his power. He can't tolerate a bit of truthfulness in others, so he persecutes Falun Gong.
