(Clearwisdom.net) Qiao Fengchun, a 52 year-old lady from Xinzhan Town, Zhaoyuan County of Heilongjiang Province, on March 1, 2000, along with five other Dafa practitioners went to validate Dafa, taking the train to Beijing. When passing by Tong Liao in Inner Mongolia, they were arrested and sent back to Xinzhan, and were imprisoned in the county detention center for 40 days. The police confiscated her remaining 400 Yuan. [The average monthly income in that area China is about 400 Yuan) Later, she was transferred to the custodial center and detained for 80 days. She had 900 Yuan extorted from her for what the authorities called "boarding expenses" and 200 Yuan for "administrative fees." The six practitioners were not released until a total of 3000 Yuan was extorted from them. Qiao Fengchun's family alone was forced to pay 1200 Yuan. Over this entire period of time, from the beginning of her arrest until the release, she had 2700 Yuan in total extorted from her. The responsible persons were: Han Fengxiang, from the "610 Office" in Zhaoyuan County, Liu Ziliang from the county detention center, and Jiang Yongquan from the county custodial center. (The 610 Office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political or judicial systems)

Zhang Shinan, female, 36 year-old, from Xinzhan Town, Zhaoyuan County of Heilongjiang Province went on October 31, 1999, went to Beijing to appeal and validate Dafa together with three other Dafa practitioners. On November 4, they were arrested at Tiananmen Square and detained at the liaison office of Daqing City in Beijing. She was searched and the police confiscated 450 Yuan from her. On November 7, she was taken to Zhaoyuan County Detention Center. One month later, she was transferred to the custodial center and imprisoned for 55 days. She was forced to sign the guarantee to promise giving up practicing Falun Dafa and forced to pay 550 Yuan for "boarding expenses," and 1000 Yuan to the "610 Office" for a deposit. On March 5, 2000 when she was reading Falun Dafa books at home, Chief Wang of Xinzhan Town Police Station led several people to suddenly break into her home and arrest her. She was detained for four months. On the expiration date of her detention term, the officer in "610 Office" asked her, "Do you still practice?" Simply for saying only one word, "Yes," she was again detained for two more months. On September 4, 2000, she was released. She was forced to hand over 1500 Yuan to the detention center for "boarding expenses," and 150 Yuan to the "610 Office" for their "administrative fees." She was robbed of 3650 Yuan in total. The responsible persons are: Han Fengxiang from the County "610 Office," and Jiang Yongquan from the county custodial center.

Geng Guilan, a 62 year-old lady from Xinzhan Town, Zhaoyuan County of Heilongjiang Province, went on March 1, 2000 to Beijing to validate Dafa. She was arrested in Tong Liao and taken back to Zhaoyan County. She was imprisoned in the county detention center for 40 days, and was searched and robbed of her remaining 40 Yuan. Afterwards, she was transferred to the custodial center and detained for 80 days. The officials extorted 900 Yuan for "boarding expenses," 200 Yuan for "administrative fees," and 700 Yuan for the "travel expenses from Tong Liao." On March 3, 2001, while at home, she was arrested and taken to the custodial center and imprisoned for seven days. When being released, the officials again extorted 200 Yuan from her. Adding the two times together, she was robbed of 2140 Yuan. The responsible persons are: Han Fengxiang from the County "610 Office," Liu Ziliang from the county detention center, and Jiang Yongquan from the county custodial center.

Wang Cuiyun, a 47-year-old woman from the Phosphorite Factory of Xinzhan Town, Zhaoyuan County, on March 1, 2000 went to Beijing to validate Dafa. After being arrested and sent back, she was imprisoned in the county detention center for 40 days. Afterwards, she was transferred to the custodial center and imprisoned for 80 days. The officials extorted 900 Yuan for "boarding expenses," 200 Yuan for "administrative fees," and 500 Yuan for the "travel expense" of bringing her back. On November 23, 2001, while making Dafa truth-clarifying materials, she was arrested and imprisoned for four months, and was fined 1200 Yuan for "boarding expenses." Adding the two times together, she was robbed of 2800 Yuan in total. The responsible person is Han Fengxiang from the County "610 Office."

Li Jingru, female, 43 years old, from Xinhe Village, Xinzhan Town, Zhaoyuan County of Heilongjiang Province, was detained twice for the total of eight months in 2001 for going to Beijing to appeal and validate Dafa, and for distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials. Han Fengxiang, from the County "610 Office," extorted 2800 Yuan from her.

Huo Yarong, female, 55 year-old, from Xinzhan Town, Zhaoyuan County of Heilongjiang Province went to Beijing on October 31, 1999 to validate Dafa, and was arrested and escorted to liaison office of Daqing City in Beijing. The police body-searched her and confiscated 350 Yuan. On November 7, she was sent back to Zhaoyuan County and detained in the detention center for a month, and later was transferred to the custodial center and imprisoned for 55 days. She was not released until she was forced to sign the guarantee to give up practicing. On July 15, 2000, she went to the county and practiced the exercises to clarify the truth of Dafa. She was then arrested by the "610 Office" and imprisoned in the custodial center for three months. Again, she was not released until she was forced to sign the guarantee. On January 31, 2001 she was reported to the authorities for distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials, and was detained in the detention center for 26 days, and then transferred to the custodial center and imprisoned there for two months. When the term was over, she was again not allowed to go until being forced to sign the guarantee to promise giving up practicing, and was fined 700 Yuan for "boarding expenses." On December 11, 2001, the county held a brainwashing class. She was at home looking after her granddaughter when the police forcefully took here away from home. During the illegal arrest, the door of her apartment was broken, her clothes were also torn badly, and she was not even given the chance to put her shoes on. When this happened, her son was sick in bed. Her daughter-in-law could not take care of the little family shop. Everyone in the family was in tears, and the children were frightened. During these four times, she was robbed of a total of 3700 Yuan. The responsible persons are: Han Fengxiang from the County "610 Office", and Jiang Yongquan from the county custodial center.
