(Clearwisdom.net) From 8:00 p.m. on July 19 to 8:00 p.m. July 20, 2002, Dafa practitioners stood quietly in front of the Chinese Embassy in Japan to protest the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Dafa and sent forth righteous thoughts at the top of each hour. 
Tokyo in the summer is extremely hot. Dafa practitioners lined up in a row and stood under the burning sun, quietly reading Dafa books. Many cars passed in front of the embassy, and quite a few people shouted encouraging words to us. The police also came to greet us.
Among the practitioners who participated, the oldest is 65 years old. A woman in her 60's, who used to be a cancer patient but recovered after practicing Falun Gong, had only one hour's sleep but still felt very energetic after the event. She said that Dafa gave her a new life and when Dafa and fellow practitioners in China suffer persecution, she should stand up to speak out about the truth, let more people know the truth about Falun Gong and call for an end to the persecution.
